Very true, Devin
I hate to see kids obsessed with money but by the same token I hate to see kids that have no early teaching of the value of and respect for money. I think the key is introducing kids to the values at an early (but appropriate) age and encouraging them to make proper and thought-out choices for themselves. As someone once said..."many of us have had over 10,000 meals with poor financial advisors (our parents). Have a great day!

Thanks for the comments. I post these thoughts for the day because they have a great message and they also serve as a personal daily message to myself. They really keep me focused. I'm glad so many people find value in them.

in The Frog Theory - A Must Read on Sublime Wealth
I wish more people saw it this way. Unfortunately, it appears that too many are falling for the old "we need change" line. Other points that I think the majority don't hear about are:
Obama was asked how soon he'd enact his tax breaks if he were to become president. His reply was "as soon as the economy settles!" There's a great answer!
Also, McCain has committed to attack the energy crisis from EVERY angle until we see what will work but ignore no option. Obama has already sold his soul to the environmentalists. When he becomes President, he's already unable to pursue certain avenues because of the sacred polar bear, global warming scare and everything else that he has sworn to protect (to win votes)
God help us!
