in If Christians in America are persecuted on Bligbi
This is one of the ways in which Canada differs greatly from the USA. I have never experienced what you describe in almost 50 years in this country. I've had to fend off the odd (in both senses of the word) Jehovah's Witness at my door, but I have never experienced any preaching on the street, or any persecution or prejudice when I happen to mention I'm an atheist. Perhaps the reputed Canadian politeness is somewhat at play here. Most people wouldn't dream of attacking someone else for something that, in this country, is accepted as a personal and private choice.

in PSA: How to Respond to a Facebook Wall Post on AllFacebook
I'm getting pretty peevish about all these spammy messages that keep getting put on my Funwall. You know the kind, just like the emails that say "forward this to everyone you know!" I can't figure out how to tell people not to do that without offending them, so I just remove the offending posts right away.

in Is Facebook Facing A Future Lawsuit? on AllFacebook
Sorry I can't help with the legal questions. But I do agree that this is overly aggressive advertising and even without knowing that my picture might be used by the advertiser on their "brand page" I would go nowhere near associating myself in any way with this type of marketing. I'm so sick and tired of everything I do being taken advantage of as a marketing opportunity for some money-grubbing corporation.
And I don't wear logos on my clothes either.

in Facebook Adds In-Line Editing For Profiles on AllFacebook
These are nice little touches, but I have one more I'd love to see them add: searchable alternate names.
This would be especially useful for women, who often have a different surname as an adult than they did when they were in school. People trying to find them may not know their maiden name.
I'm in a particularly awkward situation in this regard, as I have had four different surnames in my life due to adoption, marriage and divorce. Right now, I use all four surnames as my Facebook name because I want friends from any time in my life to be able to find me. But obviously this makes for a ridiculously long facebook screen name.
I would like to see Facebook add a minimum of three extra fields for alternate surnames and/or for things like online nicks like some people use in chatrooms where that's the only name people know you by.
This way, people like me could just use their usual current two-part name and trust that people searching for us under our married name or our name before adoption (or whatever) would still be able to find us.
