Don't pay $30 for this thing! I got one in a Christmas stocking from a relative a couple of years ago and have since seen them at Walgreens and our grocery store for $10.

For that matter, they are pretty crappy in the UI and cntent they hold and might not be worth $10

But that's my personal opinion. You may find yoursef in need of a plastic flask that does not actually HOLD alcohol, but teases you with what you could do if you HAD some. ;)

We've lived in places that didn't allow real trees, but my wife bought her parents one of these after seeing them on a local TV station report 4 years ago. They LOVE it. They still talk about it every holiday season. Probably the best gift they have ever recieved. They have had the freshest, best looking trees ever since.

AGREED! We bought one a few years ago when my wife was pregnant. It was the one thing we bought that I felt like a moron for buying 10 minutes after we got it out of the box. It is just a microphone as far as I could tell. Nothing remarkable.
