This is super helpful. I am working on a book right now that I suspect will be a niche book, as well.

Re: how I manage multiple blogs

Hey, DJ. Do you manually repost on all of those sites or do you have a program that does it automatically. I have had a lot of people pestering me to do more on Facebook and MySpace (for the same reasons you have the different venues) but I hate having to cut and paste to them all.

Re: how I manage multiple blogs

Yeah, I'm doing that but was kinda hoping there was an easy way to do it in MySpace. All the solutions I have had are complicated. For now, I just have an RSS feed widget on my MySpace page. You can see it at myspace.com/noeljesse"

Re: privacy in a blog world

My wife and I were at a carnival with our family a couple years ago. Someone we didn't know approached us and said "Hi! We just looked at your vacation pictures this morning."

From that day forward, I removed my personal family info from my blog and I don't talk about when I travel, with very few exceptions. It's about helping my wife feel safe.

Re: most effective FREE internet filter

Awesome. We experienced it once in Hawaii and it was awesome.

Re: Free Sample Survey

Thanks so much for the link to your survey. We are doing our annual survey this weekend and while it was too late to change ours, we will definitely steal some of the ideas for next year.

In case anyone is interested, you can download a copy of our's here: http://www.noelheikkinen.com/resources/riverviewsurvey.pdf
