in Are You Ready to Be the Mainstream Media? on Chris Baskind dot com
The way we consume the media has changed quickly. I'm not restricted to the time and place anymore. Only restriction nowadays is a dead battery. But last week I found a solution for that, too. I can read my feeds and browse the internet almost anywhere. Mainly in buses and trains, sometimes in beerhouses.

At home I have a small digital TV converter connected to the PC. It has changed the way I watch TV completely. Once a week I do the programming and PC saves all the stuff I.m interested of. And I can skip all the ads. Right now I don't even own a TV as we have learnt to know it.

Hmm, one cup of coffee has a bigger footprint than a glass of beer.

Personally I have lived over 40 years happily without Twitter. I have never understood how it would add some quality into my life. Beside, real life can be found elsewhere. A good thing is you can get there by taxi.

Those electric cars are cool. But is there any knowledge how lithium batteries behave in cold weather?

Actually in some cities old fixed bicycles are cool thing to own amongst young adults. Those things were made to last. And parking fees, oh dear.

Few weeks ago I was wondering where all the extra money is coming from. Then I remembered I gor rid of the car over a year ago.

Luckily I live in an area where the life without a car is possible. Commute traffic works. All my basic needs are ten minutes walk away. And the bus terminal in downtown has few good beerhouses.
