in Phantom Alert: Speed Trap Warning System For Your GPS on The Inquisitr
PhantomAlert is another slimy product designed to help selfish drivers flaunt the law. And since red light cameras, radar traps, and photo radar vans are constantly changing locations, it's a scam. Why not do yourself a favour and simply obey the law. These laws are designed to protect all of us.

In our region, it's the red light cameras that are the scam. They're used to nab people who don't wait more than 3 seconds before turning right on red, even after a full stop. This effectively renders the right-on-red rule useless since perfectly safe openings disappear in that interval. People end up waiting for 3 seconds, then barrelling out - cutting someone off - no ticket for that, though. These cameras are a very flawed (and dangerous) method for pocketing millions from unsuspecting motorists.

in West Virginia Record | Raleigh couple sues over collection calls on West Virginia Record
I don't understand...Did they file a suit because they are getting collection calls???
Wow...89 calls in 90 days...Well within FDCPA (and that is by TWO agencies; So the average per agency is less).
If they claimed they retained an attorney, did they actually GIVE the info to the agencies? If these are large agencies as specified in the article, they will have procedures/systems/technology in place to prevent this sort of thing. Debtors will often lie about retaining an attorney as a stall tactic.
I certainly hope the guys representing Fingerhut and CIT shut this down. If agencies start getting sued for CALLING a debtor, we may need to revert to smoke signals to let debtors know they have an outstanding debt!

It is God and his Son who determine true religion from false.
In Matthew 7, Jesus clearly warned against false Christians, who will be like wolves in sheep's covering.
Which means that it wouldn't be starkly evident on the surface who true servants are, versus the false ones.
Fortunately, both Jesus (and other parts of the Bible) tell how to identify the true from the false.
Consider:
* John 13:34-35 - Love among themselves.
Which group refuses to take up arms or fight in wars, regardless of which country they live in?
Who has overcome racial and cultural hatred and prejudice, and lives together in harmony?
* John 17 - No part of the world.
Which group stays politically neutral, regardless of which country they live in? They thus never end up killing their spiritual brothers (nor anyone else) on the opposing side?
Which group has firmly taken such a stand despite imprisonment, Nazi concentration camps, and other persecution?
* Mat 24:14 - Good news of the kingdom preached worldwide before the end comes.
Which group spreads the SAME message of the Kingdom worldwide, in hundreds of languages, without bias, and without profit as their motive?
* 2 Tim 3:16-17. Which group views the Bible as the inspired word of God and strictly adheres to it for standards by which to live, which thus elevates them morally and makes them better parents, children, neighbors, and citizens?
Which group is thus far different from religious hypocrites, because of doing so?
Which group follows the Bible command to "remove the wicked man from among yourselves" to keep bad practices from being practiced by its members?
Those are some of the things you can use to get GOD's own opinion, as he's stated in his word the Bible, as to who true servants are, and who are the false.

Bill Maher suggests that religion be destroyed for the good of humankind. Here's what is really interesting...
God actually plans to do the same exact thing, with FALSE religion!
(His own Son was in fact executed for exposing false religion for what it is.)
In the book of Revelation, false religion is described as Babylon the Great. In 18:4 he warns people to "get out of her" before he brings upon her what she deserves.
He will use human governments (described symbolically as beasts in the Bible) to do it for him. They'll think it's their own idea, but actually they'll carry out God's will.
False religion is not only ridiculous, but it has done more harm than any other element. However, that does not in itself prove that true religion does not exist, any more than counterfeit money in circulation proves that there's no genuine money in circulation.
After false religion is wiped out, true servants of God will remain.
Sounds ridiculous to skeptics, but wait and see. Remember, you were warned. A loving God always gives warning. (Noah preached to skeptics, too.)

You can try and blame these girls as much as you want for this incredabily stupid, and short sighted thing that they have done. But this sort of tragedy won't go away until several things are addressed, including, poor parenting skills, and big business who continue to portray people as sex objects.

Agree and disagree.
The very same facts you use to back up how "Safe" the world is, would suggest that when parents did the things you suggest (25-30 years ago) the mortality rates for those kids was much higher! Didn't think about that, did you?
"Nationwide, stranger abductions are extremely rare; there’s a one-in-a-million chance a child will be taken by a stranger, according to the Justice Department. And 90 percent of sexual abuse cases are committed by someone the child knows. Mortality rates from all causes, including disease and accidents, for American children are lower now than they were 25 years ago. According to Child Trends, a nonprofit, nonpartisan research group, between 1980 and 2003 death rates dropped by 44 percent for children ages five to 14 and 32 percent for teens aged 15 to 19."

And the military doesn't lie or make things up. No sir, huh uh, why the "probably" mixed up that ricin right there in that camp, in fact they "probably" hosted Osama himself for dinner just last night. "At the very least", they're Muslims, and well, you know "those" people are all alike. We just know they're gonna find chemical weapons any day now. You just wait. And we sure as heck won't be "planting" them in some bunker, like some people suspect. 'Cause the military doesn't do things like that, right?
