I feel as though, even if I've been silent lately, this is an issue upon which I have to weigh.


As usual I seem to be missing the entire point and am instead focused on the lamps in the pictures. They have white shades, and blend with the wall. This stands out to me.



Perhaps you need new lamps. I like the color of the couch, and maybe if you painted the frame of your glass door the same color, added some new lamp shades, put a picture up, and threw a throw rug on the floor things would come together a bit more for ya.



Maybe I'm wrong and that's only like giving someone with a horrible face a good haircut, but that's what I think when I see those pictures.

Actually, regarding getting words in... I'm always interested in the logistics of what it must be like to be on a show and be interviewed and hardly talk, or be asked a 3 minute question and have 10 seconds before you are interrupted. You seem to have struggled in the past at times, mainly because you were put up against a tough panel with the likes of Sherrod Small (although hilarious) or whomever that was that grabbed her boobs a few months ago while you were trying to talk.


Anyway, I took note, or at least I thought I did... actually I'm making note right this very second... that you seem to have improved on your assertiveness and are breaking into the conversations to charm the discussion better.

as a man utd fan i couldnt stop laughing in reading this 'piece'. city are going to be so massive? more than they already are? change the game of football forever you say? hahahaahahaha

Has anyone ever witnessed a more rapid abandonment of principles than that shown by City fans this week?

For years they have banged on about being the people's club; a football club that is still a football club as opposed to an organisation obsessed with money; supporters who were in it for the love of the club, the love of the game; 30 years and we're still here; the true Manchester club; 'This is our city' and all that nonsense. An entire generation of fans who have built their identity purely on being whatever United are not.

And what were United? A greedy, rich club that bought success with its vast wealth. Wealth which came before all else, acquired through disgraceful commercialism and a soulless disregard for the beautiful game. Fans who cared only about trophies and expensive signings, and who understood nothing of what it meant to be a true football fan - a City fan for example.

But this is the United whose fans at least cared about retaining its identity as a Mancunian football club. When foreign owners with the wrong motives came sniffing round Manchester United, we fought and fought and fought to keep them away. We used every means legal, and some illegal ones too. We mobilised, we collected, we protested, we campaigned, we lobbied, we vandalised, we wrote, we phoned, we emailed, we rallied, we marched, we flash-mobbed, we rioted. We made it impossible for them to visit Manchester peacefully. And the loss of our club to people who didn't give a toss about its identity and traditions meant so much that some of us walked away altogether. Home and awayers with decades of fanaticism to their names had decided that forming a new club, with the incredible effort that entailed, was the only alternative to seeing their club used as some egotistical bastard's plaything.

Contrast this with 1st September 2008. The only sound you could hear that day was that of 100,000 zips being simultaneously lowered as the blue quarter of Manchester collectively dropped its trousers and bent over, willing to be shamelessly violated by some slimy rich man's c**k. Not a shred of pride, not a moment's defence of their supposedly salt of the earth club; just a panting mass, all ready to be anybody's Bi*ch in exchange for money with which they can buy success.

There really is only one true football club in Manchester, and it's not Manchester City.

Wow, awesome! Thanks for the totally awesome tour! I know how crappy moving can be, and it must have been just the sweetest touch to feel like you have some cool people around you in your new neighborhood.

Toddrod, yes- the Mall of America is in the Twin Cities here... and it's pretty damn huge... although most of the out-of-towners go there cause it's near the airport. There are about 6-7 regular malls in the metro area that the local peeps hang out at when we're not mocking Wisconsin or falling off of bridges. =)

Welcome back from Vegas Toddrod! I used to live there... I should have pointed you in the right direction for the best buffets to destroy your cholesterol count on! But alas, now I'm in Minneapolis... watching the Republicans decend upon my lovely city, along with St. Paul, and shut it down. =)

PS18 made a serious mistake, some would say it was out of effort. id say it was a blatant attempt to cheat, much like a dive late in a match. but this was more obvious so idiots like to make a huge deal. many united fans are very upset at this...for many diverse reasons.

my only concern is i try and over think these things. i dont even like someone telling me it was a good game, because if its 2-0 in the 75th minute, i know somethings about to happen. if i see man utd v hull is rated an 8 does that mean united scored 5 goals or it was a thrilling 1-1? what is the standard ya know? either way, excellent idea and i hope its successful

united a one man team? do you know how many first choice players were out against pompey, including the last minute tevez drop and 3 players injured in the match needed subs? and then you go on to say this newcastle team is no different than the one that got beat last year 6-0....there was 5 changes from that team.

All I can think about when I look at that picture is what the rest of the scene would look like if you pulled the camera shot back. Why does that person have such a tight grip on the duckling? Is he the pitcher in a game of duck baseball? Did they just pull him out of the jaws of a croc?

pretty pathetic expectations for paying customers if you ask me. the issue isnt that they went to commercials, its that the channel that offers all the matches uninterrupted in HD is actually available...just not to everyone. I am paying nothing for ths extra channel. The point is, its available to get the matches without commercial...obviously NBC is doing it. yet some of you find it excessive to actually expect that sort of coverage? the people content with an inferior will continue to be sold shit.

I only caught the last 20 minutes the other night, but I was laughing for most of it, which is unusual for a Comedy Central Roast.


From what it sounds like, Norm was awesome as usual. Sometimes bad jokes are the funniest kind. Isn't that why we watch Red Eye?
