in Win Ben Stein’s Ethics: Lawsuit threatens Intelligent Design film on The Colorado Independent
The exact reason for intellectual property law Considering the amount of time and effort it takes to render 3D animation like that, and given the choices that have to be made to produce an animation on the micro scale, it is the height of absurdity to  state "there is nothing approaching copyright infringement".

It is absolutely clear that the dishonest producers thought they could get away with an illegal act without anyone noticing, and with their usual audience being rather overtly credulous, you can see why.

But this time they took on an audience of very smart, very resourceful people. And they are getting hammered over it. Between the Dover case and this, their true agenda is crystal clear.

in The Trends Underlying Enterprise 2.0 on Andrew McAfee's Blog
These three reasons are inherited when Web2.0 is applied to the enterprises. Making a business case for the use of enterprise 2.0 still is not easy even when you try to apply these three factors. The benefits may be clear for business *leaders* - but for those CIOs who control the budget for these kinds of initiatives will find it hard to justify. This falls in the same realm of archaic KM systems - at least in terms of being able to quantify the roi on inplementations. Any thoughts? I read your SMR article and love the observations.. This is the first time the innovations already proven in the consumer web site (2.0) is permeating the business side of things!

in For Those About To Skip Work, We Salute You on EPL Talk
I snuck out to work in the middle of the day to catch the final 30+ minutes of the Costa Rica Germany match and I am recording the Poland match this afternoon. I'm still looking for a way to get around the BBC's location issue, and if I can't I will record what I can and whatever I can't record I will stay up with on Soccernet.com
