in Find Out Why Captain Jack is All Depressed and Shit. on Captain Jack's Grande Adventures
Meh, don't sweat it man. The problem is as technologically advanced as us blogger types are, a very small fraction of the people visiting our sites haven't a clue to what RSS or Feed Readers are. Even if they did click on the feed button, they probably wouldn't know what to do with it.
Who cares about numbers anyways, it's about quality right? Kind of like saying who's a better pua, the guy who has banged 200 fat chicks or the guy who's banged 10 super models...

in How to Build an Upside-Down Fire: The Only Fireplace Method You’ll Ever Need on The Blog of Author Tim Ferriss
The thing with the tipi fire is that it's supposed to be used to get the fire going, as this design allows it to go from lighting the fire to quickly igniting the whole structure. From here, any veteran Boy Scout should know that you transition to a "log cabin" structure on top of the coals from the tipi. This is similar to your upside down fire except has the spaces in between.
In my opinion, the upside down fire would not do well in the outdoors, as it is too reliant on the enclosed element free nature of a fire place.

in JUST Be Yourself on Captain Jack's Grande Adventures
I like this way of looking at the whole "just be yourself" concept. You're basically making a Less is More type of argument. This makes a lot of sense to me, kind of like a complex piece of machinery. The more parts and gears you have in it, the more likely it's going to break down.

in Why Have Blogs At All? – The Race To Kill Blogging on Andy Beard - Internet Business Systems Discussion
Andy,
You might want to check this site out:
http://fav.or.it/
It's essentially a new RSS reader except that it has the ability to read and write comments from within the reader itself. I haven't used it yet because they haven't let me into the beta testing but if this thing takes off it will definitely change the way people interact with blog content.
If integrated comments become a standard practice, then it will certainly change the way people make money off of their blog. I assume people will just have to adapt to a different type of advertising.

in How To Increase Technorati Rank ?? on Online Earns
Honestly, I think people should just focus on writing really good content rather than try to manipulate the social medial sites like Technorati. I think what really matters is focusing on creating something of value, that other people will enjoy. When you do this then people will Fav and link back to a site. This seems like a much more ethical way of increasing ones traffic.

in Exclusive: Activity SocialStream Goes Portable With Blogcatalog on Andy Beard - Internet Business Systems Discussion
I have to say, I'm becoming more and more impressed with where BlogCatalog is going these days. It almost seems as if they are creating the Facebook for Bloggers, which I think could eventually be a huge success for them.
