Hello Michel,

Excellent meme. I can tell by your writing style that you've been at it for a while. I appreciate what you said about gaining in site from the conversations that evolve from blogging. I have found comments to be entertaining and even inspiring. That is why I encourage bloggers to leave them.

I consider myself an 'accidental blogger', who has discovered blogging to be an enjoyable means of self expression and interaction with the Internet Community.

Finally, you mentioned the fact that there is 'so much bad copy out there'. As an aspiring writer, I use blogging to hone my skills as a writer in the hopes that I will develop into a seasoned Internet content provider, perhaps even an on-line journalist. I do know one thing, I am hooked on blogging.

Thanks again for the meme. Oh, and by the way, I've subscribed to your blog. So, you'll be seeing my face from time to time. Keep up the excellent work. It is inspiring.

Great article. I sometimes use Text Pad, but never thought of using it for writing, and I did not know that it had spell checker. I think I'll give it a try.

I too, am leary of letting someone have access to my db, but having a backup copy of your data off site has its advantages.

By the way, Carol, how did you like hosting your blog on Wordpress.com? I just opened an account, and am contemplating transfering my blog there since I'm already familiar with the Wordpress platform, just curious.
