Hey! I love social too and I subscribed to it but the script isn't following people who follow me or removing people who don't follow. I e-mailed you guys. Can you help me out?

We made a pet emergency backpack. In it we put pet food for four days, leashes, medicine and a blanket.

Our goal for 2009 is to simplify the holidays by dividing them between our families instead of driving between two states to visit everyone on major holidays.

One thing we did this year was simplify our entertaining. We have a closet with emergency entertaining supplies (wine, snacks, soft drinks, napkins, a tablecloth, etc.)

I'm not sure why people got upset since you fully disclosed yourself in italics before the post. Even if they didn't read that line, the first line of the blog said you hadn't been in Kmart in many years. I think that shows a level of honesty. You could have said, "Oh I love Kmart and they have so many great items...."

And since you are working with this company, advise them to move towards being like Target. Everyone loves Target. It has a nice feel, nice quality items, displayed well, good lighting, plenty of registers, nice employees (even in NYC).

I don't mind brands being on Twitter, but I agree they need to be transparent. Asking a group of women to talk because they are being compensated harms the authentic conversations that are happening on twitter. As long as people disclose who are are working for or even designate the talk with a symbol (like a plus or pound symbol), I think that's enough disclosure.

We choose to follow or unfollow various accounts. In the past two weeks, Twitter has had a surge of porn accounts. Some people follow these accounts not realizing that they are a porn site until they start tweeting up the porn. So we can we ban the porn brand if we don't ban all brands?

Charlie - these are fantastic ideas that you presented to the City Council. It's a great idea to create a position of technology community manager and NYC will take it when someone's son or daughter needs a job. It's a shame that the city affairs are run on the basis of who you know, not what you can do or offer. But have you ever thought of leading a charter school? I figure you're brains always going so I wondered if you ventured into that area.
