why can Nokia not put video out on their supposeded business phones?
Video out is killer, as then it becomes a true laptop replacement device, and you can do your work/life in a truely mobile way.
Reading through the feature list, i was *almost* tempted to get one to replace my E90 (which while i can cope with the size, it does get a little boring hearing the same "nice but too big" comments over and over again).
Two things stopped me; low resolution screen (can't really go back to QVGA after 800x352) and the fact that there is no Video out.

Heya Mike ! Thanks for dropping by. I agree, no Tv-out is a real loss. I do not get why Nokia assumes its business device users dont need atleast some of the features that come standard with most new Nseries devices. The 3.5mm jack is there, why not have tv-out too. *shrug*

@Mark Guim, yes those terms should never be exposed to "regular" users, but for technical, bleeding edge people these are all the things that need to work seemlessly (invisibly?) in order that Nokia starts to beat things like the iPhone and Palm Pre

+1 for Nokia Maps.
I was in Berlin over the Weekend, and having installed the German maps to SD card was able to get exactly where i needed to be every time.
And the best thing - no roaming data charges!

regarding Opera, it may work so well on the limited screen as they have experience with the QVGA screens on phones, the "small screen render mode" that has been in there for a while etc.
I like Opera as it has the features in a single package, rather than Firefox that has a reasonable base then you need to start searching for all the add-ons (which as i use far to many different computers (work, customer...) means no two places are the same)

Actually, no. It doesn't work well in graphical terms as a browser - the fit to width option makes a mess of some layouts, and their mobile know-how doesn't translate well to the desktop browser.
I'm finding it a pain to use for actual web surfing - it is full of irritating little pauses that have no relation to the SSD (no disk access), becomes slower as you open more windows and gobbles up RAM like you wouldn't believe (80% over Firefox with an equivalent set of tabs).
And it is unbearably slow in JavaScript-intensive sites. My usual workflow with it has been to fire it up to check e-mail via IMAP, follow a couple of links, and then kill it before it hangs (which it invariably does) and then switch to Firefox.
I will eventually get rid of it and find myself a decent, light e-mail app.

in Firmware Upgrade available for the E90 Communicator on Mobile Industry Review
I applied it yesterday (ended up needing to do a battery out reset).
Strange thing is that it is not even the latest version of Maps included!

regarding only being available for Nokia S60 phones, they are going first for the big market (and iPhone development is still very new).
And it seems to be a growing phenomenon that people are getting both an iPhone and a Nokia (each has strengths and weaknesses)
Regarding charging for 1 week, if it is as good as they think it is, then for less than the price of a beer, you can try it out (very small risk).
Also, it seems that 40-50€ is the normal price for an S60 application.
