CCTV's HQ building is simply amazing, our clients office was just across the road and the view from the 15th floor was just too good...

So DONG in Korean also means east like the DONGZHIMEN subway station in Beijing :). And that alley very much reminds me of TIANQIN and the Silk Streets. So did you buy any? Do these guys bargain like the ones at Silk Street? My biggest bargain there was I guess denims which started from 700 RMB and ended at 65 RMB :).

Hey if they don't get much sunshine there just send them over to Pakistan, right now it is 46 C here in Lahore so I think they will grow much quicker :).

Well, we do not have all those night clubs and stuff in Lahore, yet... But Lahore and Lahorites are popular for their food habbits, so those places are pretty much open day and night, especially the food streets they have the best local food, whenever you want.

I can surely contribute a chapter or two to the book :). Three great months in China and even though Lahore is a much much livelier city, and it really does not sleep unlike Beijing which shuts at 8:00 PM, but I am missing the fun on weekends.
Very true about subway even though it is not very different from buses in Pakistan and oh my spitting...
