in Top 10 Free Mac Software on TechSutra
Those are some good items. I've found iusethis.com http://osx.iusethis.com/ for a source of popular apps and such. Off the top of my list would be the Unsanity products http://www.unsanity.com/products , and a few other good ones...for back up, Superduper: http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper/SuperDuperDescription.html, and an excellent vital info database, info.xhead: http://www.xheadsoftware.com/info_xhead.asp, and another one by the Flip4Mac people, Drive In: http://www.flip4mac.com/drivein.htm
Oops...I just realized that I got in on some of that software when it *was* free, but now I think most of them cost a little, BUT, I'd gladly pay for them now....will probably have to when an upgrade happens. Anyway...that's my 2 cents.

Very cool software, Screenflow. Hadn't heard of it until Telestream picked them up recently. I've looked into it and they are retaining the dev team of Vara, so I expect a continuing great output from the combination.

This is great news. From the example of Telestream's acquisition of Popwire, they have proved to be competent and capable of producing progress with their takeovers. The Vara software appears to be quite distinguished, and a great compliment to the Flip4Mac line. Most importantly, though, they have kept the Vara and Popwire engineering teams in tact, which, IMO, keeps the quality and magic of these products stable.

Oh yeah....Flip4Mac is the preferred method for viewing on all my Macs. Perian takes up any slack with compatibility: http://perian.org/
.....now, who will be Armstrong's successor?

Interesting app Growl...gonna have to try that? I've found iusethis.com for a source of popular apps and such. Off the top of my list would be the Unsanity products HERE, of course, as you've listed it already, Flip4Mac, and a few other good ones...for back up, Superduper, and a simple free one, iBackup....and an excellent vital info database, info.xhead, and another one by the Flip4Mac people, Drive In.
