It's good to see someone doing something charitable, and it's even better when this sort of reason is chosen.

I've been visiting your site for a few months now, and I'm continually impressed by the quality of products, factoids and general web-media you dig out. It's such a brilliant range, and aside from the cars, it really matches my interests. Stretching out that network is only for the good, and donating to worthy causes as a biproduct of that expansion is excellent.

My affection and respect for this place has grown. ^_^

Re: …Coment Charity continues?

PC. It's what I've grown up with and I like how straightforward they are. I'm not a designer, and I don't particularly care if my monitor looks ;sexy'. I'm a writer. I like to open a program I can write in, and web-browse for research/procrastination purposes.

I also have multiple geeky friends who are PC users that I can point the tower at when I need some new hardware installed. I'm not a computer person. ^^;;

Re: …It’s TGI Friday: Beer? at Didnt You Hear…

I'm more a whiskey person, but I still have much love for Tiger Beer, which is pleasently imported and goes down really easily.

On the other hand, Carlsberg is so damn refreasing.

But, if I'm not in the mood to get tipsy and am just after copious amounts of nice-tasting brew, then Budweiser is my little bottle king. So, a beer for an occassio, I suppose. ^_^

Re: …The first line in a novel is the best line in a novel? at Didnt You Hear…

I'm doing a creative writing degree and we had a whole seminar dedicated to the first line of novels. They are stupendously important, though the subsequent hundreds of lines are too (^_~), and the list here demonstrates that.

Nice literary link. ^^

Re: …It’s Memorial Day: Helicopter?

I used to be addicted to this at school.

Thanks, not only for alleviating some boredom, but for taking me on a trip down memory lane.

Re: …Chandeliers are overrated?

That looks incredibly creepy...

Cool, but not something I'd want in my house. ^^

A cool mod would be a sticker that had a pattern cut out within the chandelier and coloured plastic inserted. That'd be less creepy-fying.

Re: …It’s Things Thursday: Planet Earth?

This was an astonishinly fantastic series. I found the tropic forest episode to be the best, with the segment about the (crazy) birds of paradise. Amazing stuff.

Will get around to picking up the DVD collection when it comes down in price. The series is still repeating on and off on BBC3.

Re: …It’s Things Thursday: Get Stuffed?

This is as tasteless and gross as it is fucking awesome.

Funny how those can be married up so easily... and with fur and accessories...

(Eyes pet goldfish)

Re: …Men buy lingerie too? at Didnt You Hear…

Not a fan of the bras, but stockings are nice. Not that I'd ever be able to get my fella into them, but nevermind. ^_^

This seems to be some clever advertising, as it's got 'Mars, Incorporated' at the bottom of the screen.

Strangeness and perviness on the web - you gotta love it. ^_^

Re: …The Bravia bunnies are coming?

Thank you!!

(Immediately puts on LJ)

I'm so totally making one out of plaster and painting it yellow in the future... However, there is none of the fluid morphing, the playing on size, and the sense of fun and freedom seen in the Sony advert. I'd actually say that the picture has an atmosphere which is creepy and unsettling.

Just my two-pence.

Re: …Some Photoshop work is disasterous? at Didnt You Hear…

I *adore* articles that highlight photoshopped women, and cock-ups like these are just plain amusing.

Thanks for giving my thighs and I a boost. ^_^
