Great list! Tx for sharing.

My security on the internet has improved (at least I think) after starting to use 1Password, which has plugins for Firefox and Safari. Great tool, although not free.

in I am not an American on Scobleizer
Algorithmic, there are, as with everything, advantages and issues with a 2 party system. In Belgium we have a splintered political system, which leads to a government always needing 4 to 6 parties to form a government, which makes it basically impossible to govern properly.

in Twitter’s Broken, I’m Out! on Social Times
I'm still using Twitter, but have moved a lot of my "social media" online time to FriendFeed. I will continue to use Twitter for the near future, we'll see what will happen with the new funding.

in Thoughts on the New iPhone on Social Times
I am definitely going to buy the new iPhone. Timing will depend on a number of things such as, will the iPhone 3G be unlockable? If yes, chances are I will wait some time and buy the iPhone as I bought my current one, via the US (not yet in Belgium). If not, then I will have to wait for the iPhone to officially appear in Belgium, and we don't know yet when that is going to be.

Some thoughts on the price though: it's 199 USD, but that comes with a 2 year plan, and not a cheap one I understand. So adoption and selling 45 million iPhones will not be as easy as anyone thinks imho. I would love it off course, as I believe the social apps and GPS location based services could really change the way people interact with each other.

Interesting times ahead! ;-)

in Forgive Me for Missing A Story on Social Times
Hey Nick, never mind about missing a story. Personally I don't want to read the same facts 3 or 4 times, which can be the case if you follow Mashable, TechCrunch and other Social Media sites.

What I prefer is a personal feel or touch to a story, one that does not feel duplicated, and that's why I love your blog! So stay healthy and post lots more items! Cheers, Marc

in Are Social Networks for Children? on Social Times
Currently I am a heavy user, and log into Twitter, Facebook and other social media/software tools and sites at least once a day, and sometimes more than once a day. At work I am working on collaboration and social networking for the enterprise, so need to be up to date (although this seems impossible).

Teen blogging is something that I have not encountered yet, I think the younger users are more on IM and MySpace.

Cheers, Marc
