To some degree I think that the online relationship preceding the opportunity to meet people in person helps with confidence related issues that pop up from time to time. Personally, the recent Tech Cocktail in Boston was the first time I was able to meet face to face many of the people I had only know via online relationships or as voices in podcasts. Having little bits of knowledge in the back of my mind about each person made for a much easier "ice-breaking" experience.

I feel like I'm still in the early stages of building my brand, and I'm learning an incredible amout about it not only here but from others in the S.M. community. I think at the current momment I would be considered a Jack-of-all-Trades and/or "Switzerland." The later, because I tend to be a very level-headed individual who is typically in the middle of things seeing both sides to the coin. For those who know me (and if you don't, ping me on FB!) I'm often the Ying to your Yang...!

I'm finding inspiration and motivation in every post. Its pushing me to continually try and step up to be part of the conversation. Thank you and you're welcome...!

This post is exactly what I needed to read today. Motivational to say the least! I'm looking forward to additional discussions on the topic!

Confidence is worth its weight in gold in all types of situations and its something that I find myself constantly needing to work on.
