Oh as long as I'm here I might as well say it. Screw him.

thefold-Chris Just think, four days ago Kent was calling anyone who didn't fully support George Bush un-patriotic. Supporting the president really has nothing to do with patriotism but in Kent's Republican Fantasy World there is no greater form of patriotism than sitting at a keyboard and typing how great George Bush is.

You said it best, though, Cooper.

I agree. It is nice to see such class as well. I am pleased he reaffirmed his stance on choice in the faceof the protests and I am also pleased about the embryonic stem cell research going forward. I had some fear he might have gone to soft with all this bi-partisanship.

thefold-Chris I'm pleased with his closing of Gitmo. But his executive order that reverses Bush's stem cell research is huge as well. I don't think he's going to go soft but I do think he is overly trying to please everyone, which is just impossible. I think what is going to happen is Obama will win some Repubs over and then proceed to divide the caucus, which to me is a great plan.

It's rather interesting how even the public is convinced now that we shouldn't bail-out the auto industry when many of the same people still support the bail-out given to — as Lewis Lapham put it -— the perps who knocked over the Wall street fairgrounds last year, emptying 9 banks of 500 billion dollars in capital, withdrawing as much as 8 trillion dollars from the DJI, 2 trillion from the countries pension and retirement accounts.

thefold-Chris Interesting indeed. I wonder, though, if the auto industry bailout had come first before the financial industry bailout if the public would be so against it. I think people are just tired of bailouts in general.

That was great I actually posted both his and McCain and imagine the whole video on Cspan will be available tomorrow, and it might be easier to see the audiences faces.
