Talking about logical fallacies, agn, how about the Straw man argument? Gerstenfeld didn't comment about the quality of Hamsun's works, but about honoring him (and the extent Norway is doing so). So it's a "gigantic" misuse of the 'ad hominem' fallacy on your part.
I wonder, if I write a marvelous book, and then 10 years later I kill many many Norwegians, do you think they'll honor me in Norway? I suspect they'll not, but I guess you could accuse them of a "gigantic ad hominem" .

Jlsn: At the rate things are going, if you murder ten Jewish Norwegians you probably would be honored. By the way, I've read several of Hamsun's novels. I found no overt anti-Semitism, but what came though is Hamsun's reverence for times past, particularly rural folk culture which he seemed to feel was being destroyed by the forces of modernity, mainly urbanization and high-powered business practices. And when I read up on Hamsun's life and learned about his Nazi leanings, I figured that he must have disliked Jews because he identified them with the evil that was changing his romanticized world. Ironically, I first learned of Hamsun from IB Singer's autobiography. In his youth, Singer admired Hamsun's work, I think because Hamsun wrote in a simple style about peasant life, a world not unlike the shtetls Singer knew so well, but of course, Hamsun's peasants weren't Jews.

그러게 이만 저만 후회가 많은 것이 아닙니다. 여러분들은 웬만하면 그냥 엑스피드 쓰세요.
하지만 엑스피드도 자신들의 잘못된 고객 응대로 언제든지 떨어져 나갈 수 있다는 것을 알았으면 하는 마음입니다.
아직까지는 SK나 KT가 기존 LG와 어떻게 다른지에 대해 구체적으로 설명하지 않고 있는 것 같습니다. 언론에서도 이를 설명하는 곳은 못 보았습니다. 그냥 같은 것이다라고 알고 서비스를 결정한다면 저처럼 후회할 수도 있습니다.
하지만 엑스피드도 자신들의 잘못된 고객 응대로 언제든지 떨어져 나갈 수 있다는 것을 알았으면 하는 마음입니다.

Some people have no irony-meter. Watch the show again and read the article above again...the Jane/Dad/Jessie/Walt quartet was spinning with tragic irony. The money is just the mcguffin in the last few eps.

Hamsun SHOULD be honored, precisely because he is a brilliant author, in fact the greatest novelist we have had in Norway.
We have had this debate in Norway for decades, in how we should pay tribute to a unique, important author in such a manner that his genius is recognized without in any way concealing the disreputable, even despicable traits in his character.
Hamsun didn't kill many, many Norwegians, he was a sour, old octogenerian when the war broke out, so I don't see how your analogy fits.
