in Tony Steward from LifeChurchTV on Chris Brogan
Chris - thanks so much for this video interview and for covering one aspect of what's happening via a Christian organization on the internet. As our lives migrate online, it's no surprise we want to bring our faith with us. Tony Steward & LifeChurch.tv are vital elements in the pioneer efforts on behalf of churches worldwide who want to see the internet used to reach, serve and love people. As one of the most respected leaders in your field, I appreciate your attention of their work. And, we all want to hear more......

Ok, time to ammend my previous comment. @loswit these guys are really serious about this!

I resisted the shameless self-promotion of including my own specific link. Now I see shameless self-promotion is well accepted here.... how did I know? And anyway, I feel my eyes are deceiving me not to see some of my special favorites here so time to add em:

Of course I have another 160 others but I'm conservative so that's nothing compared to most.

well me, of course, cynthiaware, but more importantly, you gotta identify what you're interested in, then identify leadership w/in that sphere in order to bullseye those to follow.

Christian leaders who tweet are a sphere. But it's a whole different sphere of those who know about design & marketing and tweet. Some musicians tweet and that's a different sphere. As do a bunch of tweeting moms, worship folks, etc. Tech folks tweet, like arrington & scoble so you gotta know what you want!

I follow some social media scholarly types i.e. - @jowyang, @chrisbrogan, @charleneli plus some of the super-elite early adopters like @waynesutton but I like to follow authors & publishers sometimes just for changin' it up.

There are certain WOF (Women of Faith) who are hysterically funny to follow and others who are not; again got to know what you want. Sometimes I like tongue-in-cheek, other times irony and I always like good link tips.

Most importantly, here's who I don't follow: those who only tweet every so often, except, of course, @donaldmilleris.

Way to get our attention Chris! You're evangelizing the Church for us. As St. Francis said "preach the gospel and if you must, use words". Looks like the internet might be a useful tool for delivering hope after all.

Hey - I've been wondering why all the visitors recorded on my site meter are tatooed?

And, like Kem, I gotta say "Awww, and it's my birthday this month" too.

@loswhit Thanks for the shout-out

Pudge (99, 100) I had this same thought last night, but I withheld myself. Today what I'm thinking is - Tony, we love your blog, so why should we end the party? 100+ and still counting...

And the worst thing Tony, is that you blog. My kids says that's a for sure sign somebody's really over the hill.
"Mother, you're not blogging again are you? Nobody under 30 does that!"
But if I forget my hormones I can't remember my AIM iChat password so I'm limited.

in Will mass collaboration change religion? on Wikinomics
If mass collaboration will change everything, can we be too lofty? :-)

Religion/faith and it's accompanying institutions often fall near the very bottom of ranked social institutions in terms of receptivity to change/innovation.
Thus, I think we can speculate that if they (we) participate in embracing the impacts and benefits of collaboration, we may see the emergence of new energies within our spiritual communities the same way those are becoming evident in science, medicine, education, economics, etc. Much more of this throughout my blog (see: The Emerging Church and New Media Technologies).
Looking forward to your continuing exploration of the cutting edge of mass collaboration - as well as the emergence of what could be a Smart Church.
