I just purchased the bigger Studio 17 and am just getting to know it after an exchange for the first one that had a power supply problem. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! OF course when you call to purchase you have no problems at all but after that it turns into a nightmare. It took me 10 calls to finally get the exchange. Then you have to repeat everything with every person and to top it off the tech guy argued with me over my email address. Why 10 calls? Because I go cut off 9 times. Nothing against India but I think those Indian call centers SUCK!!!!!

This machine had better live up to expectations is all I can say. At least the blu ray came standard on the 17 inch model.

That's about the only good thing about Comcast broadband. They only have one level of residential service and over the past 4 years the speed has gone from 3mbps to 16mbps but the price does not go up with the speed changes.

So, they promise her 2 free tickets. She promptly calls a friend and offers a night out at a movie for free. Then said tickets come in the mail and turn out to be ticket. Not wanting to screw her friend (at least not before the movie), she ponies up the cost of the extra ticket. Thus bringing to fruition Miramax's diabolical plan to get her to pay all along. Now, say they do this for 10,000 Amanda's throughout the country. If even half follow thru and pay for their friend, Miramax is pulling in $50,000 if the tickets average $10 apiece. None of this would work you say? Not worth the effort you say? I say.....You're probably right. Then again, I might just be a big shot at Miramax! HA!

All humor aside, I believe this unit is geared more toward handicapped or paralyzed, etc... Believe it or not, there are people out there that go thru quite an ordeal just to take a shower. This would actually be a Godsend to some.

I was lucky enough to grow up in a small town surrounded by national forestland. Naturally I spent a great deal of time in the woods hunting, fishing and just enjoying nature. I was also lucky enough to be around as a bald eagle population came back into the area. I have always been amazed and enamored over birds of prey. They truly are some of God's greatest creations.

I lost all my local data on my work PC just 2 weeks ago when it died. No backup! I now make sure everything of value is stored on a private network drive.

We all should know better but how many of us are guilty of being lax in this area?

HD is IMO a waste of time on any screen smaller than 32". Frankly, that's one of the reasons companies haven't spent much time working on a small screen HD set.

I'm thinking everything is a joke today but if i were going to take this seriously I'd think that stewardesses (yea, I said it Mr. PC) are probably given emergency landing training. It wouldn't surprise me if at least one trained WOMAN is on every flight.

I actually thought it said "tantrum" sleeping bag which I consider a great idea for those little tikes that throw regular fits.

Battery swapping stations along major I's. Probably about 5 years off but I'd imagine it would be a viable side business for gas station owners. Drive 280 miles, stop in to a Super TA along I-90 and for say $20 you get a fresh 300 mile battery. Of course you could always take a smokin hot chick along and just stop at a motel every 300 for 4 hrs of *cough* rest.
