Stuff.. in the cupboards,in the attic,in the drawers.
It's all hidden away. My home seems very streamlined and simplified but behind every door is a freakin' nightmare!

One promise that I made to myself in my 30's that changed my life was to become radically honest.
With myself first,getting to the real nitty gritty on my needs,boundaries, my health,family. Seeing things for what they really are and not convincing myself of different truths.

Danielle always inspires me to dream big.
I would love property by the sea. with a garden that heals and feeds. A studio in the barn. An extra cottage for my friends. The time to nurture the garden myself,and a kick ass espresso maker!

My hands.
A friend recently told me that my hands have an energy unto themselves.
I work with my hands,
they hold on and let go.
They are my creative vehicle
They are large and strong,
I celebrated my hands by adorning them with swirly white tattoos .

I saw Sarah Mclaughlin play a hundred years ago at the PNE-long before she was mainstream-I was blown away by the fresh new talent and her amazing backup singers.
The Ramones in Seattle at one of their last shows-(no wisecracks Danielle)
Playful and original-jumping around like a 12 year old girl in my turquoise mini- now that was FUN!!!!

Everyone has a story-something to teach something to tell.
I listen and learn from others, I am present when others speak-not just waiting for my turn.
Taking my own ego and values out of a conversation and hearing someone else opens new worlds.
I have become sensitive towards others.

The way they use the tools properly.
I could pretty much fix up my place with a high heeled shoe (for nails),a credit card (for the screws and scraping)and some Crest original(to fill in the gaps). Tim always seems to come up with the perfect gizmo for this or that. It is really quite amazing!
