in T-Mobile webConnect on Ubergizmo
Actually, T-Mobile has been selling 3G laptop sticks for quite some time. Years, in fact.
It's merely the first 3G stick that the US branch of T-Mobile is selling, so it's not really anything special. Over in the civilised world T-Mobile is even selling the sticks with prepaid cards instead of full contracts, and pay-as-you-go schemes that only charge you for the day you actually use the stick.

in Nokia Gun cellphone might make you hit more dead spots than usual on Unwired View
Guys, you DO realize that this is a photoshop job, right?
There is no Nokia gun phone, sorry... and anybody who's ever held a real Glock and a real mobile will realize that the mobile part would leave no room for the actual ammo.

In all fairness, though... the REAL US Army developed the Davy Crockett - and expected people to actually USE it.

Actually, palm-fired pistols have been around for more than a hundred years, they were quite popular among the less reputable poker players in the late 19th century...

in Private: The Games We Played - Racing Destruction Set (C64) on OhGizmo!
Pity though that the most important part of RDS wasn''t mentioned - the destruction part: Each car could be outfitted with landmines or oil dispensers - get ahead of your opponent, press fire, and he'll STAY behind you :-)

in OhGizmo! » Archive » We’ve Seen Wine In A Box, But In A Can? on OhGizmo!
The idea isn't new. I've tried drinking canned wine in the Netherlands last year - in normal aluminium cans like they use for Red Bull and suchlike. Didn't really taste all that great, the Merlot I had from a 0.2l foil package (like they use for softdrinks) was much better ;-)
