Wait, is that a critique of those signings? Because Hangeland provided aerial cover because he's like 6'12", and is now the captain. And Nevland scored 2 goals that iced much needed victories.

Woy's (thats what us fans call him) signings have been initially suspect, but they turned out to be solid buys (Litmanen excluded). Sanchez bought a bunch of CCC players wayy over their worth, and was fired because of it.

keane only scores goals when he plays a considerable amount of time consecutively.

with rafa's rotation system, that isn't going to happen.

Kartik -- its not just the UK that uses a single table. Practically every FIFA league does.

And I don't see how transportation is an issue: each team has to travel to the opposing ground anyway. And a single table would remove those awkward third and fourth games against the same opponent. So if anything, it will reduce travel costs.

Yell at me for drinking the kool-aid, but a single table with home and away fixtures would really differentiate this sport from any other in this nation. MLS is trying to run with the big boys (and failing). Instead, it needs to be playing to its own tune.

And Bretos pleading the fifth in this case is another example of corporate society dictating free speech. Gotta love it!

This FA Cup semifinals prove that money is bad for the sport.

From a fans perspective, a match-up of these four clubs is an amazing novelty. But because money is such an issue now, the games are terrible from a tv-perspective.

I know I want to see a Barnsley/Cardiff final. Do the networks? Hell, no!

Why is everyone so surprised about the lack on continuity in the FA's rulings? You root for a small club, you get screwed (which as a Fulham fan, I am well aware of).

Just look at last season:

1) Mascherano playing for 2 clubs, yet Liverpool getting the go-ahead to sign him.

2)Carlos Tevez not being owned by West Ham, but MSI, yet still allowed to go to ManUnited.

3)West Ham shredding documents about two said players, and not getting a points deduction. And then the FA tells Sheffield United to essentially 'go away' when they demanded justice.

And yes, sadly, Fulham is doomed. Saturday was truly a depressing day.

it may be suicidal from an advertising perspective, but an fa cup final with two minnows would be great for the game and for the cup itself.

Here's what I love about being a Fulham fan: bias.

Everyone in the media was slagging the Cottagers for paying a ridiculous amount (which is true) for the lad. Yet Wigan paid substantially more after King 'reportedly' failed a medical and everyone is reporting how its a great pickup for the Lactics.

Can anyone explain to me how is this better??

Here's EVERYTHING you need to know about Rafa and why he needs to go:

1) Liverpool fans wanted the premiership this season. Argue all you want scousers but deep down you know its true. Rafa couldnt even deliver contention come October. Additionally, the closest he's been come the new years is 11 points off the pace -- and that was last season.

2) Rafa cannot defeat the other members of 'the big four.' In 21 matches against them his squads have only acquired 15(!!) points.

3)Despite the lineup changes, he constantly sticks with Dirk Kuyt and Riise.

4)His remarks about Gillette and Hicks not understanding the transfer market several months ago were wholly classless. He maneuvered himself between the fans and the owners, and somehow the fans got his back.
