The sofa and ottoman arrived right on schedule.My son is thrilled with it's ease of construction, storage space and comfort.I was very happy with your double checking on the order and promptness of delivery.It's nice, and very rare these days, to do business with a company that understands and executes good customer service. Great method is hypnosis. I have a friend who had an unbelievable phobia of flying, she even couldn't use an elevator. She couldn't live a normal life because of it. She went to one psychologist who also was a hypnotist, it took only one session like 20 minutes where hypnotist made suggestions to her, and one of them was when she will be on the plane and will be very nerves and anxious she has to touch her left ear. So when my friend had to travel by plane the first time after she was hypnotized she was as always nervous but when she touched her ear she calmed down and the whole time she was quiet and she was not nervous at all. Also there are other techniques of suggestions that can be used. Try to find a good hypnotist he surely can help you.

Panic attacks are really scary. I started getting them almost four years ago and im really sorry to tell you but there is no Miracle cure to get rid of them but you can try to gain some control over them. My advice would be to read up on them, there are so many good websites about dealing with panic attacks and many of them have forums. It really helped me out when i first got them. I thought i was going crazy or that i was the only one, so hearing about other people and their experiences made me feel a bit better.
Stress does often bring panic attacks on.make a list of things you are worried/stressed about and see what you can tackle, ask friends or family for help and advice.

Some of my tips-
*Dr Bach's rescue remedy
*take your mind off p.a by doing something that focuses your attention elsewhere, eg- deleting old phone messages, writing down the words of your favorite song,making a cup of tea
*talk to someone, you would be surprised how many people you know suffer from panic disorder, sharing experiences brought me closer to a girl at work
*see your doctor

I have been using an alternative therapy called Emotional Freedom Technique and it has really worked for me and helped me a lot. I had anxiety depression but now I only have mild anxiety and depression and I have been feeling a lot better. It's very good at getting rid of all kinds of negative emotions and dealing with all kinds of issues quickly. It does sound crazy but does work. These are some links about it.

You could talk to your Doctor they can suggest all kinds of treatments to try. The one that really helped me with my anxiety and depression is an alternative therapy called Emotional Freedom Technique. Since using it I have been feeling a lot better. It's very good at getting rid of all kinds of negative emotions and dealing with all kinds of issues quickly. It does sound bizarre but does work. Might be something that can help you. I was okay until "I'm here because of Ashley" and then the waterworks hit.

I knew Obama was going to bring his A-game, but these words are way above what I was expecting. It just hit me on so many levels. He got really personal about his experiences as a biracial American; acknowledged the grievances on both sides of the racial divide and implored us to understand where the other side is coming from; that we should focus on what is keeping us divided, namely those with money and power; I could just go on.

What really got me was his ability speak to these issues truthfully and intelligently. He actually talked to us like adults who are able to see the shades of gray. When was the last time a politician did that?

Simply stunning.

I'm so glad I decided to skip the debate. As it was I felt my blood pressure going up just watching KO's post-show.

Having said that, I'm feeling a little better today seeing all the bitterness being directed at ABC (no pun intended). I think people are finally waking up to what a joke the US media is.

Great post Jack, it's almost like you're reading my mind. I'm also worn out from all the haterade being passed around, so it's time for my own news blackout for the next couple of weeks (KO included).

But having said that it really is all over but the shouting for Hillary, so it's all good in the end.

Take a few days away from the news shows, the blogs and anything that will make you upset and just relax and get well.

Curling up on the couch with some classic sitcom DVDs is the best cure for whatever ails you. Take as much time as you need to come back fresh and ready to raise hell.

That's definitely the plan for me. I'm an Independent who hasn't voted Dem since Dukakis in '88, but I was willing to come back to the fold to pull the lever for Obama. Aren't I the type of voter that the DNC is supposed to be so rabid for? I'm sure I'm not the only one so the DNC poobahs can play if they want to, but if they screw this up they will have no right on November 5 to whine about how they can't attract swing voters when there's a golden opportunity in their laps RIGHT NOW!

Barack and Michelle are such a gorgeous couple. It really comes through in photos of them how much they are head over heels for each other.

OT: What do think about Rev. Wright agreeing to be interviewed? I think it's a bad idea and I'm kinda pissed off with Wright. He knows the media will have a field day splicing and dicing his comments. And given that the media is on their "Is Race A Factor" kick, this interview comes at a bad time.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate and say that the media obsession with Wright is such that even if he kept a low profile between now and November, they would still keep him front and center and twist his words and what he's about. At least he gets to tell his side of the story and Bill Moyers is not like these other knuckleheads, I'm sure his questions were fair and objective.

Completely OT: If any of you were following the Sean Bell shooting case in NYC, the cops were just acquitted. Sigh.

I think this long, drawn out primary is getting the best of a lot of us. Just by reading the posts here and on some of the other blogs it seems like everyone's nerves are frayed down to nothing and emotions are running as high as I've ever seen them. That's not to say that there is no cause for concern, but taking a few deep breaths really wouldn't hurt at this point.

I've always wondered who made the US the final authority on who should and shouldn't have nuclear weapons. IMO it's the height of arrogance to say we can be armed with nukes up the wazoo to defend ourselves but no one else can, unless you're our ally (Israel, Pakistan). And as far as the argument that Iran wants the technology for nefarious purposes maybe, maybe not, but I'm not so sure our intentions are so pure on this end as the last 8 years have borne out.

I was in Fez, Morocco when my sister called me with the news in the middle of the night. I was shocked. The next day the other guests at the place I was staying peppered me with all sorts of questions (I was the only American there). Aside from KO and BBC World, I don't watch TV news so I have no opinion on Russert's influence one way or the other. Having said that, I feel great sympathy for his colleagues and especially his family.

From what I've been hearing Russert's wife and son were still in Italy when he passed, so I can only imagine their added anguish of not being with him in those final moments. And for his father, nothing is more tragic than to have to bury your child. May God bless and keep them during this time.

This makes me think back to my office last year when Imus was fired. My department is predominately made up of white guys in their late 20s-early 30s. They're into the frat boy humor, think Howard Stern is God, etc., just to give you an idea of the mentality I'm dealing with.

They just couldn't understand what the big deal was about the "nappy headed hos" comment, after all gansta rappers call each other niggers and their women hos and bitches, so it must be okay.

Anyway, I tried to explain how those names were unacceptable coming from rappers, and 10 times as unacceptable coming from a white person. I might as well have been talking to a brick wall. Finally, to put it in terms the guys could understand I said, "Jeff Foxworthy calls white people rednecks. So I guess that means it's okay for me to call you a redneck then."

Honestly, I'm at the point in my life where I'm so over trying to jusftify my existence. If a white person wants to talk about racial issues, and is open-minded enough to have a serious exchange, I'm always up for that. But I no longer waste my time having "the conversation" with folks who act like smart asses. If they want to wallow in their ignorance, they can be my guest.

I love Top Chef, too. I am addicted and also watch each show several times. And, same as you, I had a hard time transitioning from one season to the other. (second season started out with many more contestants, so the bonding process was tough!)

Each chef is an acquired taste, no? Even Stephen, the wine guy, I came to love. He looks like a young version of Barry Manilow. The hair, the ties, how he shakes his head a little when he speaks.

Must be cool when you're so into cooking to watch that show! :-)

I too will believe as I will. I'm ok with that. At the end of the day, I hold myself responsible for the safety of my child, not the neighbors, not the city, not the Government. If I open the door to a RSO knowingly, it's not the government's fault for what happens under my roof to my daughter, it would be my own. Period. If the government passing feel good laws makes you feel better, that's great.... But it certainly wouldn't allow me to put my guard down when it comes to the welfare of my child.

I agree that there is a lot of gossip and rumors flying about in the area. I'm fortunate to be on holiday for a while :) I can tell you most of the crap I'm hearing, is just that, crap. There's only a couple of people I know that were friends with MJ, the rest are co-workers from Thermadyne and Hypertherm. Not that it's right, but I'm guessing Thermadyne didn't do the extensive background check because he was employed for the other company... Maybe they assumed he was thoroughly checked out by them? If Denise and Cassandra are hiding something, I hope they are exposed. And J1 knowing that "E" was MJ is possible, I guess anything is possible with this case. It just seems to me that she didn't know.... Then again, she's close to being as warped as MJ is mentally, as a result of him. Now I need to go back a re-read those emails again.

Thanks for the compliment So Sad. I'm a bit confused by the Thermadyne company? I have worked there myself, they manufacture plasma cutters. Jacques worked at Thermadyne's competitor before working for them. He was released from probation early (I can't remember where I read this) because his job required travel outside of the country, one of the countries being Mexico. I thought the authorities determined the IP addresses of the emails were only from Jacques house and his work place. I'm pretty sure an affidavit stated that. If that's the case, then Gagnon couldn't have been sending emails as "E". I have a feeling Gagnon wasn't tied up in this mess until he received the phone call from Jacques after the authorities showed up at his door. We have some huge pieces missing here. Also, we don't know when she had an encounter with "E" while she was drugged, if it was July (?) of 2007, then it had to have been Ray Gagnon posing as "E".... Maybe?

Absolutely So Sad. I've been wondering the same thing about Corey. Why would they redicate J2 and not the name Corey if they were one in the same. Hmmmm.... Regardless of being 2 different people, I find it hard to imagine that J2 just pulled up into the drive way, picked up J1 without going into the house, and left, end of story. Something isn't right there. You mentioned there's a problem with J1's testimony, maybe this is the problem with it?

Still thinking about those emails. J1 admitted in the first affidavit, IIRC, that she had intercourse with "C", whom she seems to have a loving online affair with. She also stated that she was drugged when it happened so she could not identify him. She didn't (that we know of) admit to having any kind of relations with Ray Gagnon, but he admitted that they had sexual relations in 2007. This is making me sick thinking about it.... Is it possible that Ray Gagnon posed as "C" that one time? Just throwing it out there. I think she would have known, even if she was drugged (depending on what it was), if it was Jacques. I guess anything is possible with this case, as demented it is.

And it seems to me that Corey is a real person that J1 actually knows, since "E" is asking her to pass a message to him. So, I'm wondering if Corey is J2?...Am I out of line here with saying that? I sincerely apologize if I am. I'm purely speculating here.... but I'm thinking that Corey knows the real identity of "E" and (shooting in the dark) that maybe MJ and hooked up Corey and J1. I worked at a company while ago, and there was a huge rumor flying around about that a co-worker was a sex offender. I looked online at The National Sex Offender Registry and there he was. He was a NH resident therefor he was listed there, if you look at the map for VT, there are no sex offenders listed. That was rather diturbing to me because the area I live in is on the border of VT. I think listing these POS on that registry would be a great start for VT. In NH I know where the sex offenders live, work, what they look like, their names, ages, and what sex offense they comitted. All parents should have the site bookmarked and use it frequently. I just don't understand why VT doesn't list them.

Thank you Arnie and Laurie. Yes, he's a sex offender, and I'm all for harsher punnishment. However, where does the law draw the line? As of now, RSOs are all thrown into one bucket, is it truly safe to say that none of them can be rehabilitated? What about the sex offenders that are regsitered because a 17 year old's parents found out their daughter has been sexually active with her 18 year old boyfriend? What about the ones that are registered because of a drunken one night stand? These guys are thrown into the same bucket as the pedophiles and serial rapists. What about the creep at the office using his level of athority to cop a feel with the secretary? I believe MJ was only convicted once IIRC and was never listed as a pedophile, there was no evidence of him being one. I guess, what I'm getting at is, is it common belief that ANY sex offender cannot be rehabilitated or just pedophiles? I get mixed signals on this one. I personally believe pedophiles can't be rehabilitated, I'm not so sure about the rest. Forgive me if my spelling is sloppy and sentences are incomplete, I'm rushing with this, and cooking and early dinner at the same time.

Hello all. I've been reading your posts here for weeks, like you I've been following this case closely. I am local to the Upper Valley, I have friends and family that have worked with Mike Jacques, I have met him and his wife a couple times, and have even been to their house. Not everyone knew of his background. Had I known, there would have been NO way in hell I would have stepped near the guy. This secret was kept well from not only his employers, but from fellow employees as well which some happened to have lived in Randolph. I'm amazed because usually, no one can keep a secret in the area. I'm a bit taken back by some people's comments about J1. She's a child! I believe Jacques used these aliases to convince her that he was a victim to Breckenrige too. To make her think his life was being threatened with hers if they didn't do what Breckeridge told them to do. This all started at age 9, the poor girl didnt have a chance... It's very clear in one of the emails that she feared for her family's lives. The majority of her life was spent in smoke and mirrors and she believed it was all real. How dare some of you blame her for Brookes death... Lay the blame where it belongs = MICHAEL JACQUES.

WOW! Einfach unglaublich dieses Finale! Das Samuel und Jacob "Gegenpole" sind sieht man schon am Anfang (Jacob = weißes Oberteil; Samuel = schwarzes Oberteil). I came here coz I saw you from my entrecard, when I read your post I think you're the one sis yenny was talking about, my heart seemed to stop when I learned about this... poor child, when I read stories like this, that are for real of course, it makes my heart feel with hatred for anybody who can do such a hateful manner. I wish something can be done for cacai, poor girl, she's only a baby... God has his plans for people who does such things like these. they're not human beings at all but animals. I try my best not to fill myselfm with anger but raping babies are just sinful!
