Checked out your site from ProBlogger weekly article on declutter. I have a Most Popular Posts list on my sidebar that I recently included because of a site review that was done on another site that said the reviewer usually checked out the articles from the Most Popular Posts before she read any other articles. I check out my feedburner stats once a week to see what the top 5 most read posts were and those are the ones you will find on my Most Popular Posts list. The reviewer has this list on her site and she has a large number of subscribers after only a year of blogging, plus I like her site.

Re: When God Forsakes You - Feeling Lost and Abandoned

Linc, have you ever heard of the book, The Secret. It is great to read when we are feeling down and low and think that God is the one who doesn't care about us. From my own experiences, and I have been where you are, it isn't God that turned his back on me. God is standing behind me just waiting for me to turn around. If you want to see where I come from, check out my blog. I know what it is like to hate myself and God. I also know the lessons that I learned from it were some of the most powerful in my life. With your words of discontent, you are creating more discontent. What do you like about your life right now? Even small things can help pull you up out of the hole that you feel that you are in right now. Find others that love you, until you can learn to love yourself. God is patiently waiting. Sorry if I sound preachy. Didn't intend to. I know that I will change only when I am ready. That applies to all of us. Create the life you want by loving yourself. If you love yourself, the rest will come.

Re: Growing Your Audience- Some Basics

I visited your blog today because of your interview done by Stephen Hopson. Great interview. I will be back to read more. I appreciate the information in this article. I just celebrated my first anniversary as a blogger on June 1 and am still in the process of building my subscriber foundation. I recently passed the 150 mark. Consistently I am between 130-150 daily subscribers. It has been a slow, but constant upward climb. Mine is a small niche blog about my spiritual journey and recovery from incest so my story line doesn't always a happy setting. I write to reach out to other survivors to give them hope and let them know that the world can be a safe and loving place.

I read a few technical based blogs to learn how to stuff about computers and blogging. I have been a fan of Stephen's for less than a year. Heck, 2 years ago I didn't even know what a blog was. So to use an old commercial saying for myself, "You've come a long way babe." Have a glorious day. I intend to.

Re: The One Hundred: A Guide to Pieces Every Happy and Balanced Soul Must Embrace: Simplicity

Usually when I get into trouble, it is because I have made things too complicated. Simplicity is best. Like someone else said I am a recovering perfectionist. I like simplicity and authenticity. What I am still learning is how to do honest with kindness. I can come across as too forceful.

Patricia - Spiritual Journey Of A Lightworkers last blog post..Kindness---Why Is It Easier To Be Kind To Strangers?

Re: Pleased to Meet You

Hi, Clay, it is nice to meet you too. I just added you as a Stumble fan and came here from Slade Roberson's Spiritual Blogging. Slade and I have been friends for months before I started blogging in June 2007. I write about several different topics of my spiritual journey---healing from incest, Al-Anon, Adult Children of Alcoholics, The Secret, Law of Attraction, my 3 trips to India, and my first series was about the most influencial people in my life with Slade being one of those. Hope you will take the time to check out my blog. We were all on the plane waiting for our last flight of the day home to Little Rock, Arkansas. We sat and sat and sat some more. Finally a lady representing the airport came on and announced that they had too much weight on the plane and needed three people to take a later flight. My friend and I who had both been flying for over 20 hours said, no, we just wanted to get home. We had been on planes since 2:00 a.m. India time. It was around 5:00 p.m. Atlanta time. We were tired and wanted to get home. Otherwise we would have considered it. The three passengers were given a plane ride out probably an hour after us and got a free trip for another time on the airlines for being so abliging.

I haven't read your article yet but I will go there and read it soon. It sounds like you are probably up for some very rapid growth in the blogging world. Congratulations.

Re: Five Ways Productivity Can Turn You Into a Real Nutjob

Clay, I will ask what I did in my StumbleUpon comment, "Are these people afraid of the silence?" Without the silence, I would have no peace within or without. I have to spend time by myself, with myself, or I would go crazy, not to mention, I become bitchy to my husband when I am not getting my alone time. What is so frightening about spending time with yourself that these people have to stay plugged in all the time. Is that fear or what? Great article. It would be funny, if it weren't so true for some people.

Re: Pleased to Meet You

Hi, Clay, it is nice to meet you too.
