My style statement is Creative Classic, and I define it as creating artistic works that stand the test of time. I am most creative with ideas, so my measure of whether it is a good idea is whether people continue to use it long after I have moved on - and usually, they do. I also have a strong need to have things be of high quality - I am quite the perfectionist. I think that both of these are serving me well as I pursue my new career interest - screenwriting. I have also revamped my wardrobe to reflect my style statement - mod fits me perfectly; it's fun, it is creative, but there is a definite structure and quality to the clothing. I will reflect on this though, and think about other ways to incorporate my style statement.

Re: Positivity; How Do You Keep It Alive?

Meditation - it is like plugging into the Source each and every day. I always change it to "the Universe" whether I am rethinking about it in my head or speaking about it. The Universe encompasses everything, and that is what God is to me - unlimited, unbounded, unconditionally loving.

Re: If You Could Only Take One Book With You, Wherever You Went, What Would it Be?

It's a tie between "Conversations with God" by Neale Donald Walsch or the "Bhagavad Gita". I too started out teaching, but knew that there was something else I wanted - needed - to do. When I started deep diving into psychological tests, career tests, etc.. it was very hard to decipher. Then Oprah had an article that asked the same question "What did you love to do as a child child?" When I was a child I would write stories, use my imagination to act out what I had written, and absorb t.v., movies, and books. I am now on the path to becoming a screenwriter because I think that my childhood passions will serve me well in this pursuit. Thanks for the reminder that our childhood selves always know exactly what we most need.

Re: Walking Around Paris On A Budget

I took this exact same picture when I was in Montemartre - it brought back fond memories! Every time I think I am on the right track money wise, something happens to scare the bejesus out of me. However, I have read at least 20 books that emphasize the law of attraction, and I am changing the way I think. The thing that is helping me the most right now is meditating and setting aside time to just let it all go. It stabilizes my emotions enough that I can keep on going.

Re: What would you do if you weren’t afraid

Quit my job and write full time.

Re: Lucia Frangione asks: What glass ceiling do you want to shatter?

I definitely am choosing to become a successful female screenwriter - there is no want, or like to be - I am going to be a successful screenwriter. I am going to put strong female characters on the screen, and I am going to sell it to female producers (there is actually one film company I just read about in Script Magazine run by young women from Harvard and Yale). And if I am unable to sell them to females, then I will sell them to males; I keep thinking of the quote "Nobody knows anything in Hollywood" - which basically means that they don't know what will sell until they put it out there and see how people will respond. If I write an awesome story, I believe that it will open doors.

Re: How are you feeling about the U.S. economic situation?

I agree with you Lindsay. I love being curious, but it certainly can make it difficult to stick with things that I find boring or uninteresting. The fact that I am so curious makes it extremely difficult to deal with the routine and mundane aspects of life. If something does not engage my curiousity and creativity, then I have a tough time staying interested. Does anyone have suggestions for making the more mundane aspects of life tolerable?
