What an amazing man! He did something so powerful in a very emotional time.

Re: what’s your sign name?

Awww Sean - we'll find you one - and I'm sure it will imply smart, beautiful, nature seeker and great man!

Re: what’s your sign name?

Sean,
What a neat vlog - totally kept my attention! Do you have a sign name? I do, but soooooo boring - ASL "L" shack back and forth. UGH - my brother Marty - has M letter and stroke forehead for "boy".

Re: Back from the 2008 Child of deaf adults (CODA) conference

Sean Sean Sean - brilliant! Yes - I too loved meeting your beautiful sister! Congrats on your FIFTH conference. It's exhilarating isn't it. Not only are you a region rep - but you also help in developing the new website! Your involvement is crucial.

Isn't the Midwest something? I've lived in Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin. I really like it - but I'd retire to Oregon given the chance.

So as I'm browsing thru your flickr photos, I see you took as many as I did. Do you have more of the conference or was that it? I was like hurry up, take photos now before I go on the last day. Love yours!

I miss you!

Re: Is Your Jar Full?

Sean
How true. It's time for a lifestyle change. I knew it was coming and today I had to throw out my McD chicken selects I could feel the fat hardening my arteries. Good find!

Re: deck project results

Oh believe me I pay!! Is that lumber or trax? Isn't it wonderful to have contractors... I have a carpenter for a husband, it's now going on one year since I haven't had cabinets, a proper floor or even a staircase.. ah such is life.

Re: would you click to give aid?

I've heard of other charities that do this as well. However, I have never heard any success stories, yet... haven't researched it either.

Re: drug dealers and credit card companies

I'm like queerskinhead - I pay them off without interest - at least I do now.
I have only one card and that's more of a security thing... when I was in college it was a race among some of the girls of how many credit cards they could have - back then you could charge something - take it back and get cash for it.

Debit cards make more sense to teach about money.. what you have is what you have - you spend it, there isn't anything more.

Re: to be a kid again…

What a nice weekend! I know it would be wonderful not to have to bargain for each ride. Very nice.

Re: do you love where you live?

Sean,
Having lived in a larger suburb of Detroit with more than 100k people with surrounding neighborhoods of about the same size. Then moving to our largest suburb... Chicago with over 1M people I had a bit of a hard time moving to our Wisconsin town. It is has about 35K people, and country surrounding it. This is BIG CITY to most locals. Oy! My first complaints were no options for shopping, we don't have a Target, Best Buy and selections in the stores we have are super limited.

However, after a while, it's been 3 years now, I'v come to like it more, the pros outweigh the cons and I find my self feeling like I'm living on this endless vacation but with the chores of real life. I too am a city girl, however, I'm enjoying life in a calmer matter. People here complain about the traffic when the bridge goes up (it's a 10 min delay, max) and I just laugh because, I'd be in traffic everyday for more than an hour.

Oh and as for parks, we in the midwest don't use them enough. They have urban farmers planting in our city parks to make up for the low usage.
Yes I am happy with where I live.

Re: kissing girls or kissing boys - a double standard?

Just looking at the photos - I didn't feel one way or the other. I mean they both didn't phase me.

Interesting point in the article, as soon as I saw Tila's name, I said yuck! She is sooo I dunno.. yuck.

To answer your question, I can't stand public displays of affection as well, but however when you take it down a notch and think about women holding hands or folding arms while walking, it's endearing - I don't think I would label a sexual orientation to it. Now, if I saw two men about the same age arms folded together, I might label them.

However, I don't pay too much attention to it.

Re: shirtless video chat archetype

Ok I had to like watch these all again... cuz frankly..
