The bid's community relations team has been active in reaching out and engaging in continuous dialogue with community groups and residents of not only this neighborhood, but also all potentially-impacted neighborhoods. The Olympics are about leaving positive, lasting legacy throughout the city. Chicago's plan includes no seizure of private land in any way - that means no eminent domain and no evictions. All of us agree that it would be a travesty to allow the Bronzeville's rich history to be left behind - we want to make sure that the community residents' voices are heard.
