Don't mind the battery, what about your eyes? Kindle is so great because unlike normal screens it doesn't hurt your eyes if you read. readin it on iphone would be missing the point completely.

You're on the right track but you should take a look at http://tvcountdown.com/ Try implementic similarly simple design and a possibility of choosing only tvshows you like and bookmarking it this way - I should be able to go to only one site and see all of the interesting me info without any useless stuff.

That's great. I've been hesitant when it came to using craigslist mostly because it was lacking so many features. i'll be sure to give jicka a try - after all that's exactly what we need - a classified site that's web 2.0. Creating a community was a nice touch.

As usual, most prefer quantity over quality ... It's nothing new really, though indeed sad. But hey, this is what happens when people copy other's, not necessarily great ideas instead of coming up with their own like you do.

Digg is great if you have awesome content all around. If you accidentaly post something great but the rest of the site is weak people won't come back. If you have a lot of interesting stuff people coming from digg will stay on your site a bit longer, maybe even subscribe.

I understand why people develop those sites - it's a tested market and they know what to implement. But on the downside everyone's using Facebook so most of those other social websites are pretty pointless - even if it had a lot better functionality I wouldn't switch simply because my whole network of friends is on fb.

I don't think it's a ploy to confuse normal women - it's a ploy to confuse people who don't think before buying stuff. It's the same as all those diet pills and exercise machines that make you thinner without breaking a sweat - you put some pseudo-scientific language, couple names nobody has ever heard before and BAM! - you've got yourself a commercial aimed solely at people who can't be bothered to spend 5 minutes researching stuff they're going to use.

I agree with John - you shouldn't compare different nationalities. It's obvious that American ones are usualy a lot better. However this still doesn't change the fact that outsourcing is pretty risky. 2 most commons reasons to outsource is either the lack of knowledge or the lack of time. In case of the former you won't be able to check if the job has been done the rigth way and in case of the latter you'll need to waste time to verify the whole thing anyway. I think that you shouldn't outsource unless you have someone really trusted.

MS Windows taught me to back up. All those crasher back in the old day meant that if I wasn't saving every couple minutes I'd probably lose a lot of stuff. Now I'm backuping every piece of data I have.

Excellent post. There are way too many people who try to find racism/sexism/**ism in everything. Depending on who you're trying to "defend" you can find something insulting in most articles - it's like when obese people are insulted by articles saying that being fit and slim is healthy.

Well you won't convince me that recharging your battery every day is not often. Last month I went snowboarding for 7 days. I forgot my charger and even though I used my Nokia E71 as a gps device in my car for some time, and for the entire time used it as my only computer (mail, news, streaming stuff) I still didn't need to recharge it. The battery died on my way home. Let me repeat that: I got 7 days of moderate to intense usage without charging the battery even once. By comparison if I had iPhone I'd have to recharge it as soon as I arrived (after using gps for couple hours).

I enjoyed the cartoon very much when I was 12 or so and I have to say this movie looks like crap. Even if it wasn't based on Dragonball it would have been mediocre at best (from what we can see in the trailer) ... but wasting a great anime to fuel a movie like this is just wrong.

Interesting! It looks good but will it work ? First of all, getting used to this would be hard, for most computer users anyway. Sedond- will it require a new mouse button ? or maybe new functions for the mouse wheel.

Sounds like a good resource but I see few cons:
1)it's new - nobody knows if google wouldn't punish you for using it

Good post. I think that even 25% of decaf in really caf there's another factor - the placebo effect. We drink coffee and it keeps us awake - no matter what kind of coffee it is. I wonder if somebody tested unlabeled coffee earlier.
