But why are you doing maths if it makes you so very unhappy? :(
It better be a compulsory thing and not something you're voluntarily putting yourself through!

I dropped maths this year, and can I say.. I've never felt so relieved in my entire life! =D

I wish you luck nonetheless

this is so weird, normally the Name bit of this Leave a Comment automatically says LJY

but right now it says

"i am a lucky guy because my gf is from hk"

WTF

*changes it*

anyway, i wanted to say, i am sad that you are leaving to the USA so soon because i have barely gotten a chance to know you (or rather, you know me :P ) and all this while, we have probably been crossing paths because i live in Bangsar and go to school in Mont Kiara and know the starbucks you talk about, and the Nero Vivo in KL and.. so on. :P

Nonetheless, i'm really glad prioritising is working for you *hugs* i have yet to truly embrace that - i find myself still sacrificing too much effort and time on silly things when i should be concentrating on others!

hope packing isn't too crazy :P i quite hate packing.. and i don't fancy packing for when i go to university! which.. i need to be applying to now that i have my results. >__>

YES.. and well, but I haven't read the other gameplans yet so I wouldn't know. :(

HAHAHAAH THAT IS CHRISTIANO RONALDO BY THE WAY PINKPAU. I don't actually like Manchester United though. (ooohh i can just feel the bashing I'm going to get for saying that)

I don't care that every comment above me has already told you that. I just had to highlight your .....ignorance :D since it's impossible to victimise you when it comes to other topics. :(

Also, reply to the previous comment. You make SAT sound so easy which is encouraging! It still means I have to put in a lot of extra time and work though and if I do decide to come around and stop being a bum, I'll let you know!

And musicals have always been a family thing so I'm waiting for dad to get us tickets. I've hinted loud and big alreadyyy and he has a CIMB bank account so hopefully I will be there!

I WANT TO WATCH BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. I WANT I WANT. And also I think you just owned all beauty and the beast fans.

New York I love you has quite the lovely cast list!

I am lazy to apply to America even though I would really really really like to try for Harvard or Stanford... because of SAT Exams. That's not a good reason is it? D: But but all my friends (and family) are going to UK. :( and it's so hard to juggle American applications and SAT with A Levels and UCAS applications! What do you think?

lots of ice cream love. =D

To Kenji (above): Cheated? I'm sorry if a such a "well written" post being an "advertorial in disguise" lessens the enjoyment you derive out of it.

The sincerity feels just the same to me. :o

And ice cream is light in darkness, medicine to illness! :D

"erm! i dont know if i’m getting the right LJY here! are you jia yoong from my former school! cos when i replied your previous comment, that’s what i thought.. :P"

To win is to leave an impact, to prove something and to create a milestone. Sometimes wanting to win so much has a reason that we refuse to acknowledge because it means we're not content. So why are we not content?

Hahaha no. I'm not Jia Yoong from your former school... Ironically though, I think I am attending your sister-school, you were a Sri Gardener right? Those damn green uniforms...

And Jia Yoong sounds like a boy's name. You mean to say I come across sounding like a boy? ;_; *emoes*

Also, another irony is that I found you through Kenny Sia back when you climbed Kota Kinabalu! (which is possibly when you begged him to take your link off the post?) I barely read Kenny Sia - because I barely read blogs in general, but I'm glad that one time I did, I found you and stayed on since. :)

in About This Blogger who Blogs on quaintly
Long (literally) pointless essay ahead:

Concurred... I've struggled excessively with blogging- I started way back when I was 13 on Xanga (though those were the days I had less of an opinion on everything so the posts were quite... shallow... ;p) - but still, was absolutely terrified when more than my circle of best friends found the blog.

I changed all the settings to semi-private only-friends-can-read, and became so cautious with blogging that I stopped blogging altogether. Though- I missed the random stranger I-can-relate-to-this comments. Funny how the audience circle I wanted were the best friends who knew me inside out and then, the strangers who didn't know my face or name or age - but not anyone in between.

Anyway a couple of years later, I got inspired when I started reading public blogs - Would it be stroking your ego too much if I said you were the reason why I dug out my blogspot account and tried blogging again? :P Haha and still after 3 posts, and only letting ONE person know such a blog existed - I stopped because looking back at those 3 posts, I realised that I've put so much of myself onto such an easily accessible platform, that well- I just wasn't comfortable with the idea that one day I may blog something that I may not want certain people to read and they would end up reading it.

Also the idea of being vulnerable- readers knowing so much about the blogger but the blogger knowing nothing about the readers (unless they comment)... that didn't sit too well-

Sometimes I almost feel guilty when I find myself enjoying or being deeply immersed in blogs such as this one, or a better example would be teen4sale- it's as though I am using someone's life- trauma- problems! as my basis of entertainment? To pass the time? Being so intrigued by someone's life-turned-drama, argh... it just doesn't feel right. It's like you say- readers (unconsciously probably) become so attracted because of the drama- because of the real person they can read about.

And yet- I can't help it. Because bloggers put so much of themselves on the blog- when they're upset I feel it- I sympathise, I disagree. But when they're happy, I smile and laugh along as well! It's what makes me want to read. So when it comes down to it... what IS my point? :P Ahh, I'm just spewing off the top of my head. I guess... when you have a public blog like this- choosing to be cautious is the wisest most diplomatic but self sacrificing thing to do.

Okay. And now on a completely different tangent! To reply your previous comment:
Hahaha my "little" (she's actually physically larger than me now. Damn puberty D:) sister used to come along to pick me up when I was in local primary school. (We walked home back then, so she came with my grandma) And you know... the icecream men on motorbikes that hang around outside gates towards the end of school? :D Yeah...... it was the only way she could get icrecream on a daily basis without mum knowing. ;) The tricks we kids get up to...

Well this lengthy comment... feels almost like a blog post of my own. xD Hopefully you managed to make some sense of it!

So my 13 year old sister frequently looks over my shoulder to see what I'm reading/looking at on the computer.
Therefore, she has seen many many many pictures of you since I frequently read your blog.//And she likes looking at pictures.

One day a while ago, she looks over and sees the header picture.

"How come pinkpau's blonde hair is so natural looking, che?"

... :)

I think that beats all, don't you? :'D

I still remember the first thing that actually really attracted my attention were all those paintings. But yes the food is yummy, and the atmosphere sweet.

in This Post Is Not A Joke on quaintly
Exactly my thoughts- just seconds before I checked your blog in fact.

Person A has just finished delivering a long bitter, defensive and insulting speech regarding a light remark made by Person B and C. Person C backlashes and the next post made by Person A has her disregarding everything before and passing it off as a "joke" when clearly, by the tone and accusations, it was not.

Infuriating.

Nothing more can be said about the religious hypocrisy of this situation because you have voiced it all. Though most commonly exemplified by this country's religious group, I find this hypocrisy actually evident in all religions so I am inclined to believe that the blame lies on the extremists.

I am not a religious person; I find that in a lot of cases religion breeds intolerance rather than tolerance- and this country is perhaps the largest hypocrite of all - for advocating it's cultural tolerance, while clearly displaying intolerance through the unfair treatment of situations like these.

Ooh, long comment.

Sweeney Todd is so awesomely brilliant!!!
Johnny Depp's singing voice just lulls you to.... places. mmm~

I do believe this is the first time I'm commenting, but I've been following your blog for quite some time now. A few months actually. I suppose I'll take this opportunity to tell you how much I do enjoy your posts, ramblings, musings, college application whines too.. :P, political rants, FOOD REVIEWS, photos.. everything you post really!

A blogger will never stop blogging.
Because bloggers are writers, and writers never stop finding inspiration even in the darkest places.

So thank you for sharing. It's always nice reading one of your posts and knowing that someone, being you, shares my (and I'm sure other readers' too) thoughts. :)
