I usually shoot RAW + JPG for portraits and weddings (and even for some personal projects). I use JPG only for "lite" stuff that has minimal editing, like birthday parties.

The show was GREAT. It was awesome to get to really see you guys talking. Amanda, you were a real trooper and made the most of the show! Kudos! Marc & Fausto, you both did a great job of honoring your friend, even when describing what you didn't like.

We both Tweet during the day. It not only fills in the gaps and provides little insights into one another, it's a way we can share anecdotes and stories.

while I do like the nested conversations, I still wish I had the ability to delete some items from the thread (the occasional bounced message due to a typo) and the ability to move some message into a different thread when the conversation goes off on a tangent. (Not all of my contacts are geeky enough to create a new message for every new conversation.) Sometimes, conversations evolve.

I have been part of the College Station and Aggie Community since 1997. It is my opinion that "Howdy" is a concept and not---necessarily---a word.

I appreciate and accept that the exact word has meaning to many Aggies, but I also appreciate a general greeting, whether it be a "hi", "hello", "morin' ", "afternoon" or just a nod. I recognize each response as a greeting that is the essence of a friendly campus. To me, the friendly greeting is the definition of "howdy".

I've also seen the extreme: a dyed-in-the-wool-multi-generational Aggie who SHOUTS (as in: SCREAMS) "HOWDY!!!" at the top of his lungs to anyone who does not initially greet him. This abrasive behavior is detrimental to the essence of the idea/concept.

I'm probably a little more generous than he (I certainly don't have a cap at 100) but I only add those I find really interesting. And, I only get notifications on some of them.
