in 2008/08/19/muxtape-shut-down-riaa/ on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
RIAA may claim to represent songwriters and artist but they generally advocate for themselves and the studios. They do a great disservice to all their professed constituents currently- except maybe themselves - but failing to think beyond litigation.
I NEVER buy anything licensed now unless through a non-RIAA outlet. I did buy Radiohead just to support the effort.

in Facebook Furthers Attack on FriendFeed, Adds Comments to News Feed on AllFacebook
So glad they finally added these features. I'd given up using FB in a meaningful way - too many friends & too few ways to sort them out. This is a great step in the right direction. Though more to be done.

in My Blog Needs Twitter on Social Times
As a new arrival to the business side of Twitter, I love the blog updates but 2nd comments by andymurd & Jeff Majka. I find it wearying to wade through a slew of links with insufficient context. Personal commentary - even if not about the posts - provides context. A series of posts does not.
