Another service from Google. Surely Google is going to have to do some major marketing to make know all its services.

It seems that only the avid, early adopters are across everything Google.

A good list of ways to make Google searches more effective. Perhaps one of the tools you did not mention is the different searches Google has on offer, such as BlogSearch, Images Search, and News Search amongst others. Using these more directed searches can make a lot of difference when searching.

A great list, but in working my way down the list I have found a number to be out of commission. There is about 10% of the list that is simply wrong, or not working.

Any of these services charging an annual fee, even as small as $20 is a pain in the neck. I am cutting these small fees out as I was paying something like $1,500 is small fees per annum across all the services on offer. Now I chase the free services, thus Docs and Spreadsheets has some of my documents, Zoho has others, etc. . . I am spreading my risk and obtaining all the free portions of each service.

I am always conscious of the fact that a site could be down. It is a matter of spreading one's risk. Regardless of the service whether it is Google Docs and Spreadsheets, Zoho Office, or Facebook -- always spread the risk.

Of course, I see the idea that women are more suited to running a business than men. BUT when a business gets into difficulties my experience is that men are much stronger to make the tough decisions. I have been involved in 5 businesses run by women and each time a business has run into difficulties the women prefer a man to take control and make the really tough decisions.
