if i could get rid of the voice plan on my cellphone i would. only 3 people actually call me the rest either IM, text or email me. it's way less disruptive and easier to get information. i have to remember everything that was said in a phone call, the others i can refer back too.

They should have left it there. I think if somebody wants to pay for it they should be allowed to have it. Is it stupid... yes, should that stop the developer from profiting... no. Granted it would be nice to see a person donate that money to charity. Problem is that the people who could afford that and would give that money to charity are probably already giving that money to charity. People who would buy something like that and can afford it would just spend it on something equally useless(LV Handbag, Gucci shoes etc.). A status symbol is a status symbol no matter how you wear it.

Hi Chad, I probably should have been more clear. The sync for the device data is not really an issue, that works well enough. Cable or no cable adding multimedia to the microSD card is painfully slow. It is faster to take the card out of the phone than hooking up the cable. It can take fully 20 mins to copy 2GBs to the phone through Windows Media Player.

Well Peggie, I would have to say that the plurk time line takes a little getting used too but once oyu get the flow I find it is easy to move back and forth to follow the conversations. As far as getting responses to plurks that can be a bit harder, I found that it took a while to get recognized as well but once it started I had a hard time keeping up. I respond a lot more than I plurk.

I never thought of it that way Tink, but you make a good point. I guess when you only have a small group you might as well be friends with everybody. I still think the Plurk model will be more successful, it's interface alone is leaps ahead of Twitter.

Yeah I have almost lost all interest in Twitter. It gets updated when I post here or from Ping.fm.
