Get your hands in as many apps and projects as you can. Open source is a good place to be.

2. This is where open source can also help. Become active in communities. Pimp those facebook apps. Give out your software.

3. Connections! Being out in the Silicon Valley would be a good start. Go to schmooze events and meetups in the Bay Area. Reach out for introductions and make your way to those angels and VCs...

4. Don't suck and work fast. Being a startup means you're absolutely tenacious.

5. Sustain success. Self-explanatory. :) Oh, and sell to Google.

Re: Top 5 Internet Tools I Can’t Live Without

it's all about the perezhilton.com !

Re: alan's (s)crapbook

The Todd not being allowed to wear banana hammocks is like Jerry Seinfeld not being allowed to eat cereal. It's become way too comic book like and they are just recycling old plots now. I thought the first few episodes were setting the show up for a rebound, but last nights episode killed it for me. This show used to have a nice sense of reality tied into it's fiction, but now it's just all superhero junk.

Just like 24 and Prison Break before it, this show is headed down the tubes after an amazing 1st season.

Re: Using Xbox 360 IR remote with Vista Media Center

Free Intelliremote full version download. It slows the entire system down from navigating explorer it will take up to 10 seconds between each folder, to slowing down the GUI animations. It's a very shoddy beta product and the final probably won't be much better.

Re: Primul meu fotomodel

era beata? :D glumeam, simpatica pisica

Re: Bike Tree Locked Bicycle Storage

that is WAY too cool!

i'd love to have one of those outside my apt, work, gym, etc etc etc.

heck if they made a portable version i'd take it with me =P

(that might be defeating the point though eh?)

Re: Add Comments Feature to Your Static Site

Disqus is awesome!

Re: Google chrome Trick – Changing the default search engine

the way i fixed it was to delete all engines. then i ran a search with google.us, opened the manage thing again and google.us was automatically added as an option, once i highlighted it the default button was now an option.
