I prefer that article to the one about the beating his wife one. No domestic violence isn't funny, yeah he called his wife a cunt (I've called her worse) but it still doesn't take away from the fact that the interview sucked at getting real questions out there. They were overly hostile and loaded. We do need to get McCain in a real interview, ask him the REAL questions, but we can do far better than the ones this Vegas reporter puts out there. If that were Obama I'd be surprised if one of you would be ok with it.

I'm going to agree with the first comment here. The questions are pretty hostile and loaded. I want a reporter that will ask hard questions but these sound like something you'd find on The Daily Show. They're leading and pretty rude. It's clear to me why he made the beating comment. It's a no win situation this reporter has put him in hence the old joke ref. to when did you stop beating your wife.

Why do people keep bringing up how boring Sebilius is? She would be VP. Outside of Chaney, that position has been home to some boring people. Plus, the job isn't about being the life of the party, it's about being an effective partner with the President.


So she goes on my list. No to Edwards but don't hold me to it lol. The drawback there is he was there already in 04 and I would hate to sit through the "he's not change" memo the media would pimp out. However, like I said it's about the best person to support balance and promote the message and agenda of the President.



Helll no to Rendell. My money is on Sebilius, Webb,Kaine, or Wesley Clark.

LOL First of all Karam honey, you're talking to a crowd of people that already decided who to vote for. So the smears and the snide remarks are just wasted on most of the people here.


Secondly, Senator Obama said he would always speak honestly, even when you don't want to hear it. That Father's Day speech was an example. To ALL the fathers out there taking care of your kids, congrats. You don't need the lecture. But to the large number of black men that DON'T raise their kids, that think paying child support here and there is some freakin gift to humanity, take his speech to heart and start raising your kids.



I was raised by a father that has loved me and supported me from the second I was concieved. He saw that speech and found nothing wrong with it. His day wasn't ruined by the speech. Like I said, if it's not you why do you have a problem with it? He's not calling ALL black men irresponsible. It's for those that need the message. When is he supposed to talk about this? Look at it, Michael Jackson is a monster to the majority of America, they wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire. But let a rock star, R Kelly, Roman Polanski, anyone, hook up with a 13 year old, a 15 year old, and it's a ok. Even Marvin Gaye had his own young girl relationship.



I feel sick when people play R Kelly music at their wedding receptions. That is not a good way to start a marriage. Just sayin

Thank you for this post. Racism no matter where it's coming from is racism. Just as it's sexist to say you're only going to vote for a woman. I'm glad to see that Mrs. Loving was so supportive of same sex marriage.

That is the single most depressing political ad I've ever seen. The voice just threw me off the message.

Nice to see that the "feminists" view abuse of other women as justified punishment. These women have a few thousand screws lose. First, you're a discredit to your gender because you used your brain to vote instead of your vagina and now because Sen. Clinton lost anything racist or gender discrimination heeped on Michelle Obama is justified because she is married to the "black male."



And they say that the right is wrong about feminists. I think they were right on the money.

I'd love for this blog to write about the blame game/poor Hillary memo that has sprung up. Katie Curic has now joined on the bandwagon. She believes Hillary Clinton would have won all this had it not been for media sexism. She had her special notebook commentary I read. I say "read" because I've never bothered to watch her show, and I see I'm not alone.


What bugs me about this is it's clear she lost because she was 1. out smarted 2. out organized and 3. simply lacked a clear focus and narrative to her campaign.



To say that she lost this nomination because of sexism lets the women out there that want to hold their vote for McCain drag their fee further. It paints her as a victim, as if she somehow lost it because of gender and not because she was not up to running an effective campaign.



It pisses me off that instead of just accepting she lost because she could not defeat her opponent they want to put her up there as some victim. How is she supposed to be a role model for women if the message is always going to be "she lost because she's a woman."



And where is the special comments from Katie Curic for the race baiting? The attacks on Michelle Obama. In fact Katie actually asked Obama if having Hil as VP wanted to make him go "eww" So what the hell is all this sister hood shit coming from.
