The standard version makes most controls public, although key controls like setting the home page and clearing bookmarks can be locked to the owner. The pro version wil have the ability to lock more commands, and potentially "lock" the browser to a single web site so a customer can say browse your web site, but not anyone elses!

If you want to talk to a bot about something other than our products try and find Halo - she's not on 24/7 but when she is she usually in her garden on Daden Prime. She has "open smalltalk" so will try and talk about anything!

Thanks for the nice comments Gwyneth, we're really only just getting started on what we think our bost could do in SL - and we've got Extropia's $20,000 question firmly in our sights! BTW have you seen this recent DoD RFP - To develop a highly interactive PC or web-based application to allow family members to verbally interact with virtual renditions of deployed Service Members. -http://www.dodsbir.net/sitis/display_topic.asp?Bookmark=34653 - just think what we could do in SL for this!

Nice post. I think we're on the same wavelength - see http://www.converj.com/sites/converjed/2009/05/... - and having only just got used to calling SL an application platform not a destination I'll have to learn to start talking about it as a protocol.
