Woot woot! The only thing better than winning is seeing little Lyla and how complete she makes your family. What a great Thanksgiving.
11/23 was my late Dad's birthday, so that's where the guess came from. As a kid Thanksgiving would occasionally fall on his birthday. I always think of him at Thanksgiving and now on Lyla's birthday too. Congrats Mike and Jina!

Good stuff Mikey. We've made similar changes and man I miss my truck something fierce, but not as much as I love driving a car that's paid for. We're still making changes, but it feels good to do away with stuff you really don't need in the first place.
I'm guessing that like us you also save some $$ money in gas by driving the Solara vs the truck?

in Harold Ramis Confirms Ghostbusters 3 Is In The Works on Pop Critics
It's not like GB2 was a cinematic masterpiece, in fact it was pretty bad. GB1 still a classic, but there's no need to bring back this franchise, if you can call it that. Some movies just don't need sequels, let alone a third 20yrs later.
It's been said before on this site, that with all the amazing novels out there that would make great movies, why Hollywood continues to recycle old junk is beyond me. I still agree with that line of thinking. Let's have more Gone Baby Gone and less GB3.
Count me out on this one.

They can't think of any new, original stories to make. They are not sure anymore if new and original stories will "show me the money". Solution, let's start a sequel recycle revolution. So yeah, we should live with it.
Regardless, we're going to watch it.

in The Sarah Connor Chronicles Recap: “Samson and Delilah” on Pop Critics
As good as season 1 was, the first episode for season 2 left me wondering if this show didn't already jump the shark. Opening scene aside, this episode was mostly a mess.
Cameron's bad, no wait she's good, she loves John, don't kill her. Puleeeeeze!
To make matters worse John brings her back.
And what's with Sarah? Does she only know how to drive with her foot pressed all the way to the floor making it difficult not to hit other cars at every intersection. Seriously my 13 yr old could drive better than that.
The only redeeming part of the show is Shirley Manson's character and where they may take that plotline. Based upon this weeks episode, it had better be good, I'm giving this show one more week to show me something or it's off the DVR.

Wow! I thought the Shirley Manson storyline was the uninteresting part. I've always been partial to the family plus Brian Austin Green. Except, of course, for John's brooding teenage ways.
