a birthday barbecue sounds really good :) wish i could be there for the celebrations! but here's wishing you a very very "bon anniversaire"... hope you have an awesome time. i'll have a virtual bite of the birthday cake :)

must say you're pretty brave to change careers and get into teaching, one profession i am glad i did not get into :) especially with my low levels of patience, i would be screaming at the students very often :) but i'm sure it will get easier once you get into groove. plus all those long holidays to look forward to!

You'll probably like the soundtrack of a few of the latest Hindi movies, Lakshya (Hrithik Roshan/Preity Zinta) and Main Hoon Na (Shahrukh/Sushmita Sen) and Hum Tum (Saif Ali Khan/Rani Mukherjee). Let me know if you want any of them. I could send one of them to you as a birthday gift (isn't your special day sometime around this month? have forgotten the date so you'll have to remind me :)

That sounds dreary after all the sunshine! Btw, I finished watching most of the movies I picked up during a marathon viewing session the day after you left. And waiting impatiently to see the digital pictures :)

you're really on a roll with the digicam! the crab and beer party looked like fun though on my dial-up you can imagine how much time it takes to download even a few pictures! but i didn't spot you anywhere! you must get someone to take a few of you so that you remember you were there too! shinde's dogs look really cute too :)
