Before I knew the ways of Twitter, I was lost... but now, I am found :) It's a great way to start a real life conversation at meet-ups like this, assuming that other people in the crowd are on twitter as well. Deciding to be geeky for the night, I even had a shirt made with my twitter picture on the front (<a href="http://snurl.com/2o8hs" rel="nofollow">http://snurl.com/2o8hs</a>), trying to link my twitter profile with my life's profile :)

Re: Blog Comments Aren&rsquo;t Dead, But Your Activities May Be Keeping Them Away

As a reader, I think it's more of a compliment to the blogger when I leave my comment on their blog rather than Strands or something similar. But from the readers perspecitve, oftentimes it comes down to what is easiest for me. Ideally, a comment could be made once and pushed to the various places (to be determined by the commenter). Well said Corvida!

Re: Twitter is Your Friend

I was linked to your article by @Jkuramot on Strands, and I love twistori's hate feed! Also, another good tool for listening on twitter is Quotably. I have RSS in my MacMail from both Tweetscan and Summize (sometimes Summize catches tweets that TS misses), and if I want to know more about to context of the tweet I search for it on Quotably.
