He did an interview on Donny Deutsch on CNBC about the benefits of his previous experience working on small teams in the Green Berets and how this carried over to his business.

Very interesting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOdbHyYWG4I

Also see:http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/profile.php?id=664350687

Re: Semantics, Search and Big Honking Databases

With the 2010 Census on the horizon, I'm thinking about applying for a job with the Census just to see if I can help make sense of it all. Wouldn't it be great if the Census data actually provided us with data that all Americans could actually benefit from? Your discussion of tagging data is extremely important in this regard.

As it relates to tagging words, isn't this just XML? And don't we also need to tag whole phrases and not just words?

Re: Darwin, DaVinci and Accelerated Change

I think the obvious structural change will be in the way compensation is distributed. The current model of a financial oligarchy has been crushed and the added flattening influence of power brought on by the Internet will allow for a further dissemination of financial influence and power amongst those individuals willing to evolve to the knowledge and greatness that lies within their own abilities. These schools of individuals connected via social networking will provide the financial largesse required to take our financial world to the next level - a world of compensation based on true contribution benefiting mankind not on larceny or chicanery used to strip wealth from mankind.

"No man is an island, entire unto himself. Every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. Any man's death diminishes me, because I'm involved in all mankind. Therefore, send not to know for whom the bell tolls. It tolls for thee."
