in Gary Vaynerchuk - A Q and A session with me :) @Garyvee I really... on Gary Vaynerchuk
Hey Gary, I have two completely unrelated questions. Q1) As someone who is just getting into wine, what would you suggest as a good "starter"? Q2) It's obvious that you're incredibly passionate about everything that you do, but doing it all the time and reaching out to everyone must get tiring. How do you avoid burnout? I have trouble just keeping up with blogging and school work!
Thanks!

It's an interesting thing that you're talking about here, and I feel that it is something that is learned as you grow up. From a young age, people are always asking, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" and, "What are you going to major in in college?". It's as if people are training us to be great at just one thing, and if you want to branch out, discover new things and be a "jack of all trades" you're considered non-committal. That doesn't fly with me. Thanks for bringing this up, GV! Great message.

Thanks for the inspiration Gary. As a college student just beginning my journey into the web 2.0 world, it's always great to hear from a "legend" like yourself and know that there are people out there who aren't just in it for the money. I'm constantly making these kinds of decisions, and I'll admit that sometimes they are hard to make, but as you say ... it'll be worth it in the end. Keep up the great work.

in What Do Boomers Know About Social Networks? on Social Times
I am super interested to hear what Boomers have to say about social networks. I'm working on a project related to that at Quinnipiac University (I've heard that you're coming to check us out?). Please, let us know what they had to say. I'm sure they have some different points of view than the rest of us.

in Don’t Make Your Product Free. Charge for it! on Social Times
I was very happy to read this article. It seems that during the rise of web 2.0, people have thrown out conventional business models and tossed their products into the mix for anyone to use. Many have become very wealthy on this model, but it is going to be hard to maintain. I love free services, but if there's something that I really want to use, why not pay?
