As to why I dont have any ads on my site I can only claim stupididty. I'll have to sign up for an AdSense account and figure out where the ads get plugged in and how.

Thanks for the series Thom. As a result of reading it I've changed my theme to hi-light my featured entries and still allow for my asides and regular posts.
Maybe I'll take more to heart and write more posts like the last feature.

I use Counterize II and FireStats as my statistics programs with Google Analytics thrown in as well.

I have a hard time staying on one theme. I'm on the Shotgun approach and blog about the bad bots I get (I tend to look at the logs a lot), officers down and then whatever floats my boat at the moment.

It appears that the zip for postie is bad. Is there another way to get the files?

I've tried to download the file several times and the only file that will extract is the ajax script.

Chris, I know i'm not a lead but i'd like to help. I think the idea is worthy of the effort. bad thing is that I'm at the airport sans laptop so I cant do a lot of reading up on the idea. That said, what I read above has my curiosity piqued.
