Paul: Whoopi may just be informed and thus rightly concerned about Palin's somewhat extreme views when it comes to religion and government. Like her making a public statement that it was God's will for her to build a natural gas pipeline and that it was God's will to invade Iraq. You may not find that disturbing, some of us think invoking God's will to support mundane infrastructure projects or ill conceived wars is just a wee bit unsettling. What's next? "Let us do the work of the Lord and pass this 3% Capital Gains tax decrease"? "Let us see God's Will done and construct this interstate bypass that his people might travel more freely"?

This is also the woman who thinks abortion should be made illegal even in cases of *rape and incest*. She is not exactly mainstream in her positions. Expressing concern over the possibility of her becoming the leader of the free world if McCain were elected and anything happened to him... or even of her exerting influence over a McCain administration, is nt exactly unreasonable.

How about that, HONEST opinions from Republican political pundits! And all it took was leaving their mics hot so we heard what they said when the cameras weren't on them. They get on television and sing Palin's praises in attempts to get the American people to vote her into one of the highest offices in the country, but they really think her selection is cynical gimmicky political bullshit by McCain... who they want us to vote into the *highest* office in the country. And that ladies and gentlemen is what the GOP is feeding to you on the news every. single. day. We'll be hearing more of it tonight after her speech. Bet on an outpouring of amazed "Oh my gosh, she's so great!" sentiments while the camera roll. Draw your own conclusions on how sincere they'll be.
