We live in a great time of computing. I too have lost data and I guess if you haven't yet lost data, you will. I also use the 'cloud'. I recall when the cloud was not available.

Ah, so you got a netbook! Wonderful. As you may know, I got a new Macbook 13" White just yesterday. I really, really, really came so close to getting a netbook - almost hitting the "submit" button a few days ago.

About that heat on the couch with your Macbook. I have an Incase slip cover for mine over the past two years. I always put the Macbook on the case then put both on my lap - no heat!

You were made for video. I don't happen to watch this programme but I feel its popularity all over the world with my friends. I just started to watch, oh what show.... 30 Rock starting with season 1 ( yeah, I never say it before ) and only after seeing Tina Fey ( spell ) on her SNL performances.

Dan, wonderful news. I have been thinking about you in this way but I knew you were a little too, well, the words were not for tv haha. You know what I mean. At the same time, you are what we all are, a real human. You will do really great. And do not be scared or feel like others are more capable than you. I agree with your comment about losing the video if the site fails or wants to drop them. I've always wanted a way for the user to control their content, share it yet keep it in their control. Like email. I like gmail but I use a old-fashioned mail app to keep archives of what I can. Even Gmail has made this not as good as in the past ( I've notice recently not all the mail comes in as it once did to my mail app ). Good to read your words.
