I agree with your comment about losing the video if the site fails or wants to drop them. I've always wanted a way for the user to control their content, share it yet keep it in their control. Like email. I like gmail but I use a old-fashioned mail app to keep archives of what I can. Even Gmail has made this not as good as in the past ( I've notice recently not all the mail comes in as it once did to my mail app ). Good to read your words.

Thanks for the comment. Relying on third party sites has been at the forefront of my mind lately. I know that if WordPress goes under as a company, I can still run my blog on the software. If Flickr goes under, I have nowhere else that I put my photos online. I guess this is the trade that we make for server space.

Ah, so you got a netbook! Wonderful. As you may know, I got a new Macbook 13" White just yesterday. I really, really, really came so close to getting a netbook - almost hitting the "submit" button a few days ago.
About that heat on the couch with your Macbook. I have an Incase slip cover for mine over the past two years. I always put the Macbook on the case then put both on my lap - no heat!

Brian so funny, I too have been putting various netbooks in various online carts but just unable to get myself to pull the trigger. My latest issue is weather to go with the tiny ssd drives or the way way way bigger old spin hds.

I'm so glad you're seeing it now. I think you'll like PB, Brian. It's pretty powerful. I'm working with them community managing and producing some how too videos. I'm happy about that because I think PeopleBrowsr is a killer app. Hope you don't mind that I pointed you here.. there are just so much to say and just not enough characters in twitter.. plus you know me, I LOVE video!
Hope the parking lessons were going well. I just had the unthinkable happen yesterday!!! I got a parking ticket for not curbing my tires on a hill. I pride myself on my parking ability, so it really hurts the pride to see a ticket on the windshield. Oh well, happens every year or so.
