Randy, I loved your above story. To me, it is always such a lift to return in thoughts to where we once were, relfect on it and then see how God's amazing hands brought us where we are today. I am thankful for past tribulations, at the time of some of them I wasn't but isn't knowing God can and will carry His own through the fire worth any suffering.Which is of course nothing compared to his suffering.
I can hear" If only you believe in Miracles baby like I believe , we could fly..."my favorite Jefferson song. Or the one I rememnber most.

I'm not familar with VH1, but did you see American Idol tonight? I liked the music, thought they all did a good job. Bo brought back memories of an old boyfriend, his hair and the music took me back to high school...I am showing my age, but who cares..Carrie can probably sing the best but I agree with SImon tonight, (and think he is cute, even if he is a "bit"harsh),what was up with her outfit, not the best.
But what do I know , they are there and I am here..

Thoroughly enjoyed your story!
You had a trip! Good for you on how you turned it to learn a lesson in life and God. I like "Tire prints in the Sand"., you never know wher it could go..
We do need to be reminded to take our friend Jesus wherever we go, I don't always do that.
The pool sounds safe:).hope you enjoyed it.

Brandi, I was divorced after 17 years, dated someone for 5, ended the engagement and now been married for 5. So what's my point, my point is that I don't think we ever forget ones we love. Our hearts always keep a spot for past loves. I still think of guys in my past, (in a right way.) I pray for them, and hope they are happy.
It's hard to seperate the mind and the heart and realize who is right and which ones are wrong for us. I think we can love alot of people ,but we have to realize which relationships are healthy and move past the ones that aren't, no matter how strong the love can feel. You did that first huge hard step. Concentrate on "Brandi", take it a day at a time , but also look to your future and think of all that GOd has promised you as His child. He loves you so much and has to be so pleased with your decision and new journey. He feels your pain and wants to hold you in His hands daily. While I was single ,, I went through what I called my "onesness" stage and I grew so close to God, I couldn't have done that had I not been soley dependent on Him. You are going to be so strong and confident, I can't wait to hear what you have to say a year from now!
I have you email address from Randy and you have mine, if not he can give it to you. I think Randy , "the man," wanted to steer away from too much openess here. I just had to respond..
