Brandi, I was divorced after 17 years, dated someone for 5, ended the engagement and now been married for 5. So what's my point, my point is that I don't think we ever forget ones we love. Our hearts always keep a spot for past loves. I still think of guys in my past, (in a right way.) I pray for them, and hope they are happy.
It's hard to seperate the mind and the heart and realize who is right and which ones are wrong for us. I think we can love alot of people ,but we have to realize which relationships are healthy and move past the ones that aren't, no matter how strong the love can feel. You did that first huge hard step. Concentrate on "Brandi", take it a day at a time , but also look to your future and think of all that GOd has promised you as His child. He loves you so much and has to be so pleased with your decision and new journey. He feels your pain and wants to hold you in His hands daily. While I was single ,, I went through what I called my "onesness" stage and I grew so close to God, I couldn't have done that had I not been soley dependent on Him. You are going to be so strong and confident, I can't wait to hear what you have to say a year from now!

We do need to be reminded to take our friend Jesus wherever we go, I don't always do that.

I'm not familar with VH1, but did you see American Idol tonight? I liked the music, thought they all did a good job. Bo brought back memories of an old boyfriend, his hair and the music took me back to high school...I am showing my age, but who cares..Carrie can probably sing the best but I agree with SImon tonight, (and think he is cute, even if he is a "bit"harsh),what was up with her outfit, not the best.
But what do I know , they are there and I am here..
