in Mortgage Reform and Anti-Predatory Lending Act H.R. 1728 Implications on Blown Mortgage
@Steve: I agree wholeheartedly
@Dale: The sentence was worded very well, but I was referring to renters who continue to pay rent to their landlords only to have the mortgage owned by the landlord fo into default. This results in the renter being evicted in many cases despite having paid the rent.

in Free Gas For Turning Your Car Into A Giant Ad on How To Split An Atom
I've signed up to the site before, but was never contacted. I'm curious as to how many "billboard" cars they have going at any given time, what areas they look to advertise in, etc. I live in a fairly populated area near Philadelphia and drive on a major highway, but no luck yet!

in How To Learn More About Electric Cars on How To Split An Atom
I think we'll continue to see more electric and hybrids on the road as the price of gas continues its inevitable climb upward. While many will feel the pain at the pump for some time to come, the biggest issue on getting an electric/hybrid car is cost. The Toyota Camry Hybrid, for example (link: http://www.toyotacamryhybrid.net), costs about 22,680 - $22,680. This is beyond the range of the average car-owner, and until there are more affordable versions on the road, they'll continue to passed over for traditional compacts.

in 67 ways to outlive 106 billion people on brip blap
Nice list! I've made an overhaul to my nutrition as well since I graduated college. I've always had a great work ethic when it comes to exercise (6x a week) but pizza and beer every weekend was no way to achieve longetivity ;)

in Getting rich, made simple - part 1 on brip blap
I'll have to respectfully disagree with TFB above. I was making 25k when I first graduated doing contract work and managed to live well below my means. Its all a matter of controlling costs. I drove a beater, didn't go out to eat much, and went out to the movies/bowling once a month. I'd hardly call that starving, I even had enough money for an annual vacation! :)
